Had umami burger tonight.

Original: delicious, but kinda small for a $12 burger IMO.

Also tasted the manly burger, was very good but a whole one of those is prob more than I want (very rich/intense).

Not sure I'm into the fries (truffle fries, awesome) and rings (very good) coming out first as apps rather than as sides with the burger.

All in all, def quite good and I might go there again if it happens to be convenient, but prob won't be making any special trips there.

Surprisingly, their best burger is actually their ahi tuna burger. Seared ahi, wasabi aioli, avocado, pickled ginger, pickled radish, a dash of soy, maybe a couple other random things. Really excellent.

Also, their best side may not be on the menu. Chedder tater tots. Get them with a side of their jalapeno ranch. Yeah. Damn.

I just learned a little piece of trivia...

McDonalds uses it's own brand of Ketchup in it's restaurants except in Pittsburgh and Minneapolis where it uses Heinz Ketchup.

Yeah, I stopped eating ketchup years ago, but evidently many people do think it's something special.

Your assertion about the lack of interest was wrong, but you've still probably killed the competition due to being the mighty DIABLOW.

It's doubtful now, but perhaps some brave souls will still venture forth their opinions and votes in support of this most important endeavour.

I mean it really sucks but the McDouble price makes sense (given the price of competitor burgers) Why is the McChicken 1.69 though? That's ridiculous.

EDIT - I just noticed this is a manhattan restaurant sampled in the article. I doubt it will be that expensive In other areas. Manhattan FF prices are outrageous.
