So.....several of the local Arby's restaurants in the area have portable signs planted outside in the landscape that advertise bags of ice for $1. This seems completely random for a FF chain to do, so I was wondering if people in other places have seen this? I'm curious if this a nationwide thing or just the local franchise owners trying to squeeze out an extra buck or two? Has anyone ITT actually ever bought a few bags of ice from their local Arby's to stock the cooler on their way to the lake?

Yeah I have, here in Oregon. It is kind of a random thing for a fast food place to advertise but being the guy who shows up with food AND ice is never a bad thing.

They have at least 30 locations so it is definitely a chain.

I used to like the spicy chicken sandwich there but obviously the poutine is nothing special.

In lolCanada, Satisfries are called Gratisfries, or maybe Gratifries. Either way, thank god there isn't a burger King for 50km.

One of my best Burger King experiences was at the Vancouver Airport eating an Angry Whopper.

Sonic crushed ice is the best FF ice value, IMO. You get more ice in a bag because it's crushed and not cubed, and its pretty elite for chilling severed limbs or internal organs.
