Your body is like a car, hoss. It needs that fuel.

Pro move is to eat breakfast because you're still up from the night before.

Damn, junior bacon cheeseburger at Wendy's is rock solid. The bacon was so good.

Yeah Wendy's bacon is #1 FF bacon imo.

They are the bomb. Crazy how they have pretty much doubled in price over the years. Think they are $1.69 each here, maybe more.

Wendy's bacon variance is too high where I live. There is one specific store that always has great bacon though. Only drawback is that it may be in the worst part of town. Bacon's too damn good to pass up though.

Burger fans,

Smashburger just opened in SF, will try it soon. Prob gonna get the BBQ Bacon Cheddar burger or make my own w/ cheddar, bacon, fried egg, red onions, grilled onions, lettuce and smash sauce. Will need to go w/ a couple friends so we can try haystack onions and a couple types of fries.

Not really fast food, but SF lately has a bunch of places like these opening with really good, but sit-down restaurant priced burgers:

The Wendy's in my town used to be meh at everything. Still have the same owners, but at some point they must have hired an amazing manager or something because I have yet to have anything less than stellar from there in the last six months.

I had the Satisfries last night and other than the 2 that weren't cooked completely (were still a bit hard in the middle but not like frozen or anything) they were really good. The ones I got were massive, like one was almost as long as my hand and half an inch thick and the seasoning they put on it was really good.

Skip fries and onion things not very good - add shake. SB has the best FF shake IMO.

I really like the smash fries (fries with garlic, rosemary and OO), but I could see why some people wouldn't. They're fairly greasy but imo tasty.

+1

Not a huge fan of their fries, but the smash fries are better.

Umami is insanely overrated. Any place that refuses to give you ****ing Heinz because they make their own ketchup can GTFO. Burger is pure meh and costs like $15.

Drop me in a random city and I'm going with McD biscuit sandwich because I know exactly what I'm getting.
Jack's at least uses a real egg. You can tell by looking at it. BK, looks like they use powdered eggs.

That's what's great about JITB - breakfast 24x7.

Tried what a burger on a recent visit to the Midwest, burger was tasty fries were average I would rank it ahead of any national chain for burger quality not quite as good as 5g or fat burger but very palatable. Ordered a double chz w / bacon and jalapeños and a fries. Fries were very average. I think I only have to try smash burger now and I have all the speciality burger places tried

Fat burger >>>>>> 5 guys >> whataburger > in n out

Smash burger tbd.

Also this is slightly OT because it's not true FF but as far as dive diners go Waffle House is amazing!!! Delicious coffee amazing waffles eggs and other fare decent enough . Prolly gets a bad rap because of the clientele but I think it is at least twice as good as Denny's

Also this discussion petered out days ago but if you like really hot wings Buffalo Wild Wings blazing style is the hottest I've ever had from a chain restaurant. And I like spicy food (Taco Bell fire sauce literally tastes like catsup to me ) definitely not a cost effective option even on 60 cent a wing Thursdays but it is very hot and good, and is a good method to ensuring beer is guzzled :-)

Never had a good bagel in my life at Mcdonalds, their biscuits are what are hit or miss.

Also love waffle house, always mad when i leave the south and end up at a turrible non wafflehouse equivalent
