Just spent some time in Hungary.
McDonald's there is better. The issue a couple people have brought up re McDoubles/McChickens having bad buns doesn't exist there. The buns are much better than the ones in the US: they taste fresher and look more appetizing.
Lángos is a street food in Hungary. My personal favorite is krumpli (potato) langos with either just garlic -or- garlic, sour cream, scallions, and ham. I was paying something like $1.20 for a langos that was big enough to be a meal.
Another decent street food I had was a sajtos krumpliburger, which was reminiscent of the "Fat" sandwiches served at the Rutgers University grease trucks. It had a 3-piece bun like a whopper filled with a burger, lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, cabbage, french fries, ketchup, and a little mayo. That was more expensive than langos, ringing up at $3.50.
