Last time I went to Popeye's my chicken was really dry and bad so I haven't been back in a while. Had fried chicken from KFC for the first time in a few years recently though and it was juicy and delicious.

I'm going to have to try that with a meatball sub.

It's not a sandwich without mayonnaise. And lots of it.

wtf the chicken salad already has mayo in it

the chipotle southwest sauce is the best thing offered at subway and it probably is awesome on that sub too

i love sauces on almost anything, but it seems like overkill on chicken salad. how could you go wrong with honey mustard though?

Didn't go with the mayo for this exact reason, but maybe it could have used just a little

Think I'll go with a line of lite mayo next time maybe honey mustard if i'm feeling dangerous

The one thing I didn't like about the chicken salad is it was too sweet even alone, honey mustard would be overkill. I bet straight up mustard would be good though.

I don't really find Subway to have great bacon/egg/cheese, so probably would only try again with the same coupon ($1.49 for a coffee and sandwich, ftw)
i used this coupon, too. i think i have 1 more, and will try the flatbread. ive had Subway a few times for breakfast and although its a lot healthier than standard fast food breakfast, i def think it falls a little short. I'd prob only go if there was a good deal going.

Jack-in-the-box: breakfast jacks with sausage are pretty solid. i think you can get 3 with coffee and its ~$5.50.

Looks like food/fuel price inflation is starting to hit fast food. I get breakfast at McDonald's at least once a week and the bacon egg and cheese biscuit "meal" was 20 cents more than last week.

got a classic double for lunch at wendys today. the new soda machine was insane, so high tech. they also had a little paper box thing for the premium sandwhiches that was kinda cool

Little Caesar's Large Pepporoni Pizza and Buffalo Ranch dipping sauce for less than $6 is pretty awesome.

The Bagel thread inspired me to run to mickey d's and get a steak egg and cheese bagel. I think it's the second one i've ever had. Not bad, pretty good actually.

It just sucks that it comes with American cheese, which is the worst cheese ever.

Any Taco Del Mar fans here?

Sometimes I really crave their unique taste. Nice alternative to Qdoba and Chipotle. Completely different flavor profile.

My go to order is Chicken Burrito on spinach tortilla, black beans, lettuce, pico, habanero hot salsa, cilantro, squeeze of lime, and finished with the white sauce they use for the fish tacos.

Also for those in Portland the new Qdoba by Lloyd center has a 'happy hour' and any chicken or pork entree is 5 bucks including a beverage from 3-5 pm. Beers are 2.

yeah i'm just bull****ting mostly. it's actually in the same plaza as my gym, so i'll prob. be going there a lot post-workout. i don't drink any calories and don't get fries, so it's not even really that unhealthy. i count calories like a woman and it's working pretty well for me. still, this might be a serious financial blow. god the place is expensive.

Im with you here. With the aid of a dietician Ive dropped 55 lbs in the last year but can still enjoy my favorite ff every now and then.

So as not to derail I did have a 'farm burger' at Foster Burger today.

I do the 3x Cha on NW 12th and Glisan. 2 blocks from home and Mario is the MAN. Funny you mention machaca. Thats my fav. Los Gorditios on SE 12th and Division has a fantastic one. 5 bucks and the best REAL white sauce in PDX.
