Went to the Quizno's by my place last week and tried to use some coupons. They didn't want to honor them so I told them to throw away the order then and started walking out. The manager came over and said he could honor the coupons.

I would assume that's their black and tan shake or whatever they call it. It's really good.

Peanut butter malt and they are very good onion rings. Not as good as burgerville*'s walla walla onion rings but pretty much everything else at burgermaster > burgerville.

*Burgerville is a portland area chain.

Burgerville rings examples:

I know the packaging is different but did McDonald's actually change the formula for their shakes? I almost never get fast food shakes anymore (other than Steak n Shake) because McD and BK have steadily gotten closer and closer to serving Krusty Brand Non-Dairy Gelatinous Mush or whatever.

Agreed - the wife wanted a shamrock shake back when they were out, and I got a chocolate, having not had a McD's shake in years. I swear it wasn't even cold in parts, but wasn't melted either.

I will never again spend the $2.79 or whatever on a shake, particularly when the still-delicious Hot Fudge Sundae is $1. Or, for like 35 cents, they will make it the old-school way and put hot fudge in the bottom of the cup as well as over top the ice cream at my local McD's. That, my friends, is well worth 6 quarters.

Anyone try the new Arby's Angus Three Cheese and Bacon Sub?

Just had one. Delicious, but not worth the $ imo ($8 and some change for a large combo).

Hit up McDonalds today. 3 DCB's and a large diet coke.

Anyone else think the extra slice of cheese on the DCB makes a huge difference when compared with the McDouble? Worth the extra 20 cents imo

Also love the $1 for every size drink deal

i had quite the fast food day, which is very rare for me.

lunch: big mac (haven't had one of these in years.. oh god yes) and 6 nuggets, about 850 calories

dinner: 1 double stack 1 crispy chicken at wendy's, 720 calories

add in a light breakfast and 90 minutes of racquetball, and i actually had a pretty healthy day!

I actually go with soft shell taco shells on the side... but hard shell is acceptable too. You're welcome.

As long as you can avoid fries and sodas, you're not doing too bad. That's where they get you with the high calories/satisfaction ratio.

agreed, they're just not worth it. the only time i really enjoy fries is at a place where they have really good dipping sauces, essentially revealing the fry as what it is, a vehicle for sauce.
