The pizza is alright for $6-$8. I just put some cornmeal on the pizza pan before cooking.

Because it sticks? I usually throw pizza straight on the rack or on a stone but I moved recently so I don't have a stone atm.

I saw one of the Groupon clones (Plum District) has (had?) a 1/2 off Papa Murphy's deal.

BTW, Costco still has it's $6 X-large pepperoni take-N-bake special til this Sunday... I don't know of a pizza that has a higher pepperoni ratio than this thing.

Philly's Best is a solid option. We get it catered once per week for lunch, but a cheesesteak for lunch is just too heavy imo

theres one within walking distance so I go for lunch every friday when I get to work from home. they advertise delivery a lot but Ive worked at a cheesesteak place and anything "to go" threatens the integrity of the sandwich, plus the fries deteriorate quickly

Yeah you're playing a dangerous game when you enter the delivery cheesesteak game. The edible half life of a cheesesteak and cheese fries might be one of the lowest of all foods.

When they still had chili cheese burritos those were still as good as new the next day.

+1 for philly's best. Do they fly in authentic philly rolls? I don't care except there's a place by me that flies in authentic rolls from philly every fay to justify charging $3 more per sandwich. They're worse than phillys best and laughable for the $12/ 8 inch price.

When I was living in Philly most pizza places had a cheesesteak, but I don't think that is the case in the midwest.

The last time I ate at Jerry's I recall dropping like $18 on a stupid cheesesteak meal. Never been back.

We have Gaglione Bros in San Diego and an owner recently mentioned expanding some, but not sure how much.
High quality for non-East Coast.

Cosign on philly's best. I get a buffalo chicken sandwich double cheese , extra side of blue cheese everytime I go to sands pa . Its probably shortening my life expectancy , but so damn good.

Is the singular "fry" standard where you live? Is this like a "soda" vs "pop" regional thing?

One medium french fry is grammatically correct bc of the "one" before medium. It's one unit, so fry is singular. At least I think, but haven't taken a grammar class sine high school. If it didn't have "one" before it, it'd be "medium french fries." "Medium" would be more than one, while "one medium" is one unit comprised of something that's more than one.

Could be totally wrong though.

"one medium order of french fries" would be grammatically correct, you can't ****ing buy a single french fry

lolwut? No one says "medium order of french fries." "I'll have a McDouble, medium fry, and a large coke." Show me somewhere in America where this isn't totally standard.

the vast majority of americans not having a clue about the difference between singular and plural words or what the word grammar means doesn't change what is correct.

Yeah one medium fry doesn't work. "One medium fries" is a bad construction but at least short for "one order of medium fries". Best way I think is to order "medium fries". Nowhere in your order should you just say fry.

"One medium french fry" is not correct because one modifies order, not fry. Otherwise you are technically ordering a single fry.
