Subway meatball is good. Firehouse meatball better.

_________

a lot of better groceries sell London Broil in their delis
I just take it home, nuke it and put it open faced over sliced bread
real good for something so quick
don't really like the rednesss shown in the pic - I nuke it till it's gone
it's about $11 per pound

You could put hot gravy over the London broil instead of nuking it as well

There should be a "Cooking a Bad Everything" thread for stuff like FJ's nuked deli meat on bread and Deansteaks.

Back on topic, anyone have a review of the CFA grilled chicken club? Been thinking about giving it a try but up to this point keep defaulting to a standard spicy.

Damn, Arby's is killing me! First they get rid of ham which means no more chicken cordon blues. Now they get rid of potato cakes which are elite?! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good crinkle fry but if I'm craving those, I can hit up Culver's or more specifically, Runza which is a local joint here in Nebraska that has elite crinkle fries.

STOP THE INSANITY!

I'm going to be the outlier here and say that crinkle fries rule and potato cakes drool. Don't think I've ever had Arby's crinkles though so I will be checking them out soon... for science!

I agree with Xmas32 and disagree with TimTim. 'tato cakes were the tits.

(And chicken cordon blues were freaking fantastic 20+ years ago, don't think I've had one in the 2000s though.)

there are very few times i actually i want crinkle fries

one is for the nostalgia factor with a good ol' diner burger served on checkerboard paper in a plastic basket with yellow and red squeeze bottles of condiments on the table.

another is when used for some sort of 'loaded' concoction. similar to different shapes of pasta being used for different types of sauce, the additional surface area of a crinkle is really only wanted when chili, cheese, and/or something else is piled on top. crinkles hold up well to a good forking.

I have this weird thing where I only like ketchup with crinkle fries and vice versa. I can't explain it.

I believe the buy one get one for .25 deal is slightly cheaper in my market than 2/6. Don’t get bamboozled by Ricks pricing tricks.

Culvers does a mighty fine crinkle fry

These are some chicken fingers I got from the deli at Albertsons. They were excellent. Huge, hot, fresh and meaty as hell. Spicy on the left and regular on the right.

Spicy chicken fingers from Albertsons always treat me fair.

This one in a small border town will also have a Nashville hot variety, messier but ldo good.

The spicy fingers are addicting good.

Also, they sometimes make different flavored chicken wings. If they ever have the salt & vinegar wings, get as many as you can.

Never had the chicken fingers but i just discovered Albertsons chicken wings a few months back and those simply cant be beat in terms of fresh, taste, and sick value as they are dirt cheap too with multiple flavors. Ill have to give the fingers a shot next time as the wings are often completely sold out half the time.

Lucky cops. Dinner at the precinct!

I'm a big fan of the Tyson frozen chicken strips available at Costco. I usually eat them in a tortilla wrap with shredded lettuce, cheese, diced tomato and either ranch or BBQ sauce depending on mood. They microwave great and an airfryer isn't needed when eaten this way.
