there were a bunch in the 90s, then most of them closed, now they're back selling even cheaper pizzas.
I've only eaten LC recently in parking lots, leftovers tossed. They are best piping hot, and like McDonald's fries, LC pizza degrades fast.
My rating would be way below dominos but above frozen supermarket pies. Mainly because the crust is so thick, reminds be of school lunch pizza
Their basic claim to fame is you can always get one. "Hot and Ready" is the slogan. So if you're a poor planner like me, or sometimes suddenly get in the mood for pizza, you can pick one up on your way home without ordering and waiting until they make one. There was a location 5 minutes away when I lived in San Jose, and often, 10 minutes before the game started I got in the pizza mood.
Unfortunately for me, where I live now they LOVE Little Squeezers and the chance they have one available to get is about 5%. They sell them as fast as they cook them. It's common to call in and order one, show up, and there are 10 people waiting for theirs to be cooked.
