Well I'm sold. Whopper Wednesday in T-minus 6 hours!

Ahem... Maybe at Hungry Jacks!

I didn't wait for Wednesday. Double and single, light mayo add cheese to both. Also got a 4pc sticks and 8pc jalapeno cheddar bites. First time with both sides, whole meal was delightful.

Got drunk and had the cab take me to Culver’s which was packed inside we went to drive-thru to find out it was their Christmas party, so no Culver’s.



Four finger platter. Fingers were maybe a 5 out of 10. Small. Slaw was pretty good actually. Don’t really recommend. Zaxby’s sauce isn’t very good either.



Cajun chicken sandwich was not bad, didn’t hate. Nothing spicy about it, but chicken was hot, fresh and juicy..



Spicy fried mushrooms. No spice, they weren’t horrible though. Crappy ranch tho.

Really upset about this Culver’s thing. Zaxby’s won’t be happening again any time soon, and that’s not just because I live over 3 hours away from the closest one.

These are the two biggest places I miss from Tennessee

It's been years since I've had a McRib. Resolved that this weekend...

And it was more glorious than I remembered. They must use different onions than on their ordinary QPC's, because they had some kick to them on the McRib.

An unrelated question - I LOVE runny yolks. Has anyone tried to get Mickeys or JITB cook their sandwich eggs so the yolk is soft or runny?

Just used my very last TB sauce packet on a chicken soft made with shredded rotisserie. I truly wonder if/when I'll taste Fire sauce again.

Today's haul from the King. It's been a few years since I've had anything but a b'fast sammich from BK. I checked the app for offers and found this...

Ordered thru the app, bacon king, add mustard, rings and a little bit of Coke, + mozz stix. $8 n change! Value! Bacon king is legit! Two parties, and none of that annoying fruits or veggies to get in the way of a massive beef injection. Plenty of bacon, mayo and ketchup though.

Burger could have been warmer.

Be careful what you wish for. The Burger King across from the University of Texas campus used to unabashedly throw their double cheeseburgers in a microwave to heat them up, in plain view, late at night.

I'm not a fan of doubling up the thicker BK patties. Dunno if they use the same ones on the King and the Whopper but I'd rather have a triple of thinner patties than a double of the thicker ones. Which is not usually the case, just something about BK.

Does your boycott include buying a bottle at the store?


Also: Is Rick not really promoting the McRib that much? I haven't seen any signage and had to ask when I got mine last week if they even had it. No commercials, nothing.
