As mentioned earlier in this thread (Thanks!), the Wendy's 2 for $5 is a prettay prettay good deal. What makes it even better is that you can use any of the app offers with it.

Today, for lunch I had a grilled chicken sandwich, a spicy chicken sandwich and a pub fries for $5.

Besides chicken sandwiches, you can also get nuggets or a Dave's single.

Ok back on the straight and narrow, 2 spicy chicken sandwiches , a red beans and rice, and a biscuit. 5 stars and toes

I ordered chick fil a for me and the family tonight via the app, drove over and the drive thru line was wrapped around the building, out the parking lot, down the side street and six cars deep on the main thoroughfare. Not my proudest moment, but I noticed the BK 1/2 a block away had 1 car in the drive thru, and decided if I was going to be waiting 20 minutes for food I wouldn't be doing it hungry. $3 double whopper, light onion extra pickle. So, so GD good. I consistently underrate how much I'm going to enjoy a whopper. I originally told myself I would only eat half since I had a spicy deluxe and a regular CFA sandwich waiting for me. I managed to stop myself after three quarters of it, and threw away the rest and the bag to destroy the evidence on the way home.

CFA was good as always, and pretty impressive that massive drive thru line only took 13 or 14 minutes I think. But, with those BK app deals it's criminal they're getting ignored like this. Now the double whopper is I think $8.50 or so on the menu, and while it's a delicious burger it's tough to say there's a ton of value there. But for $3, it's borderline glorious.

Can't you park and have it brought to you in the parking lot via the CFA app? Skipping the line.

Also had a double whopper for 3 tonight it was aces.

wondering if you cut it into thirds or if the three of you took alternating bites until it was gone.

A few decades ago, I stopped off at a McDonalds for a Big Mac meal between my friends wedding and the reception. Nothing like ordering and eating a Big mac in a Tux. I must have been starved because I still remember how good that Big Mac was. I barely remember the meal at the reception.

Then brag to the FF manager how you paid for your Tux in full by saving so much with all your FF coups.

I'm a big fan of Carl's/Star Hardees, but another vote for Culver's. One, they're more rare than Carl's. Two, their food is really good.

Typically on car trips I'll wait to see a Carl's before stopping for lunch since there's not one convenient for me.

I'm guessing most chik fil a's are backed up to the nearest stoplight during peak times right now. I know its the case here.

With no dine in or inside pickup the drive thru is getting completely smashed. Under normal circumstances people park nearby to go in and eat or pickup food and that option is completely gone forcing everyone through the parking lot itself one way or another.

Juicy little jalapeño. The sandwich was pretty good, 6.5/10 area. Not as good as CFA or Popeyes, but a good chicken sandwich. The jalapeño bite was pretty great though. $3.99.

This brings us to the other new clucker in the ring


The Farmer Boys spicy chicken sandwich. $5.99. It was also okay, similar to the Church’s, no jalapeño, more expensive, not impressed.
