Today I further fulfilled my purpose with a Southwest double from Jack. Its pretty ****ing good! Subbed 7 poppers for the fries, and they were superb.

I noticed that a bacon ultimate cheeseburger is only 30 cents more than its swineless brethren. Surprising.

guessing what you thought was white cheese was actually a mayo and meat fat emulsion (which i can see turning out pretty close to being a cheese-like product).

Wow, just had an intriguing thought! I was fairly certain that I wouldn't be getting another of those, (the BOGO jalapeno doubles are literally less than 30% the price!) but just had the idea to sub the mayo for Big Carl sauce! Now we've got something going!

Bruh. I spent 5 years living in Arlington after college, El Pollo Rico on Wilson Blvd is probably the #1 thing I miss (probably 1a and 1b with The Italian Store subs). It's been almost 15 years, and every now and then I'll get a memory of that sweet, juicy, delicious chicken and get misty eyed. When I lived there I think a quarter chicken w/ fries, coleslaw and sauce was like $3.75 or $4.25 or something insanely cheap like that too. I would of course usually do half chicken for $6.25 or whatever they were giving it away for. Last year I was back in the area and made a special hour detour to grab lunch there. Price was definitely higher, 7 or 8 bucks for quarter chicken meal IIRC, but the flavor was spot on.

I've found and tried a couple Peruvian chicken places in Seattle within the last year, but the prices were too high and the flavor wasn't as good. Appreciate what you got, DC-ites.

I just got back from Popeye's. That place was slammed like back in the chicken sandwich craze days. So much chaos. All because of T-mobile.

It took me 40 minutes to pickup a take-out mobile order.

The smell of Corona was thick in the air.

My local TB had the hand made (printed, at least) sign at the drive-thru stating several fav's were already gone - no beefy fritos 'rito, no triple layer 'chos. One or two others, also.

A sad day, indeed.

whoa, no triple layer nachos either? My son is going to be devistated. His normal order is 2 BFB and a triple layer nacho. We stopped for dinner after his bball game last week and he was crushed when they said no BFB and ended up panic ordering 2 soft tacos instead. They still had the triple layer at the time some maybe thats not going away everywhere?

That wait time is why CFA will always be better.

I like CFA better wait or not. Something about the Popeyes sandwich is a little too much. I like it...but CFA is better, and I might like the fried chicken from Popeyes more than the sandwich I think. If they would just give me a ****ing thigh those bastards!

Hmmm interesting. I thought I liked UK KFC way better than USA KFC, but if those Limeys are skimping on the portions, maybe I change my mind!

Deals are whack across the board right now, but for the King of course. Prices seem to be moving up at Wendy's, Mcdonalds, Popeyes, CFA

Another great double whopper courtesy of the King today, noticed a 3 dollar snack box in the app, not sure if new or if only new to me. 10 Nuggets, 1 cheeseburger, medium fry, small drink. If you were going to buy Fries (2.79) anyway thats an incredible deal.

BH's exploits are really pushing my desire to move to the southwest, if he keeps it up during the winter my desires will be cemented.
