That's why I did them for takeout. All 4 of us were there to pick them up. It's just that when we got there the doors were locked.

Still the best dollar per calorie menu pricing in the game!

Jish

Lemme guess in addition to being low rakeback, the items are not your choice and the first item is Cinnamon twists?

At least Wedny lets me hoard points for doublestacks

Must be terrifying as a FF manager to see the Mark_K van roll up or the 4 XXXX K's orders hit the app feed.

I gotta imagine they respect the hustle for the most part.

If apps existed while I was in HS, I can absolutely imagine terrorizing the TB and MDs drive thru late night with a mini van full of orders.

[grandpavoice] well...back in the day...[/grandpavoice]

in my college days we would take a van full of stoners through the TB drive thru after a concert, spend $25 total, and still have food left over the next day.

The Culver’s I go to most often has been doing 2/$6 double deluxes on Tuesdays. Big fan of that deal.

LOL the visual of a manager with the arthur style clenched fist as 4 app orders with a bunch of subs, holds and addons flood his screen in the middle of dinner rush is killing me

Going to have to explore this. Is it listed on the menu? posted on a sign?

"Uhhhh...... ok....... I'll have two jalapeno doubles please."

When she opens the window, she says, "just so you know, this is at your own risk." Lol ok. She said some lady was inside going around inside and touching everything. Didn't state why they believe she had COVID. She says they called the owner/whoever and they didn't seem to be concerned and just told them to not let people inside. And she just found at she's pregnant and is really upset about having to be there. All of this information is completely unsolicited.

The bottom bun of the first burger was hard so I ate it without. With haste. The 2nd one was quite good. Every time I'm amazed at how big they are.

lol @ that sign

I ride on to greener pastures.

And by greener pastures I mean a place that wasn't possibly actively contaminated by patient zero.

Much like the Real Big Hurt he is our unanimous (FF) MVP.

Quote:
Frank Thomas was named the AL's Most Valuable Player by unanimous vote in 1993. That year, he became the first White Sox player to hit 40 home runs and led the team to a division title. He repeated as MVP in the strike-shortened 1994 season, batting .353 and leading the league in slugging percentage and runs. Following two sub-par seasons, Thomas lost a close MVP vote in 2000 despite posting career highs of 43 home runs and 143 RBI. Still, he was named AL Comeback Player of the Year, and Chicago finished with the AL's best record.

I ordered 2 JBCs from Wendy's, am told it will cost $2.73 . I tell the cashier the order is probably wrong, and re-state my items. She says it's fine. I say they must be on sale.

Receipt: 2 x Junior Cheeseburger

Next window of the phantom tollboth. I tell the guy I tried my damnest but I could not corral 2 Junior bacons from the cashier. End up with four burgers for the price of two, I offered to pay the difference and he says no ofc. All simple, surprised by the eagerness of the guy to get it right at first, I realized they're probably not fighting with anyone during the pandemic.

Also have not seen any wendy's comply with employee mask guidelines. Maybe its an expectation they're already protected via drive-thru seclusion, but wearing them around your head means I am compelled to never shop there.

Nice score with the 2 extra burgers!

I’ve been inside McRick’s twice in the last 2 weeks and every worker was effectively masked. Plus each worker provided top notch and super friendly customer service.

FF is unhealthy enough, I don't need the heightened anxiety.

Extra burgers for the win! I could murder couple JBCs right now.

I’d like to toss half the buns and make a Double JBC.

I have no idea if it is available at other locations, it shows up on their electronic sign on the outside of the building as today’s feature and also on a sign inside iirc that lists the special of the day.

Had to see this Culvers deal for myself. Showed up at 10am because my Culvers is bananas line wise at seemingly all times. 2nd in line in the DT, didn’t find the deal. Scooped a triple deluxe for 7.62. Solid breakfast

In Pre Covid times I would eat this inside and dip every bite in way too much ketchup. Not quite as good without it.

Got excited until I found out the nearest Culvers is 70+ miles away.

Looks like it might be worth the drive though.

Culver's pics look great! None near me, but unbeknownst to me they do have a few in the Carolinas so I'll go next time I'm down there. Actually had no idea there were any east coast Culver's.

Fast food Philly steaks are usually iffy IMO. If you live in a reasonably large US city there's probably at least one place near you that tries to approximate the real thing. (It looks like the closest to me is South St Steaks in Bethesda -- these places always have a Philly themed name). I would probably make an effort to get to one of those before I went for a fast food cheesesteak.

Wawa's cheesesteaks aren't exactly authentic or amazing compared to real Philly steaks, but they're pretty intriguing since you can completely customize the toppings.
