Chicken was fairly moist, not incredible obviously. Would probably be dry on a reheat but I generally eat cold the second. Love that garlic sauce, not sure if onion is the best play for 3rd topping, normally I only have the chicken bacon on the 2 topping 5.99 medium 6 dollar deal. I need to try out the Brooklyn crust, haven't had it in years.

Sausage pepperoni mushroom was a little overdone, still acceptable that combo is a real nostalgia classic for me. Pizza hut hasn't had a decent deal in weeks around me!

Onion needs to be on every pizza ever imo. I mean we'd all still crush that order ofc.

I think it's virtually impossible for them to overcook a pizza. They have a rolling conveyor in the oven like other chain pizza joints. You drop it onto the conveyor on one end and it comes out the other.

Paid a visit to the King for lunch today since it was convenient and my stomach was in fighting condition. If I die in the next few hours you know who did it.

Noted the calorie counts printed prominently on the King's menu and after seeing that a Bacon King was 1150 calories I knew I had to have one. I can now report that it is indeed 1150 ffcalories ... of meh. Mediocre bun, lots and lots of low grade beef and way too much mayo. I will say that for fast food bacon BK's is pretty decent, it's certainly better than Rick's and better than what I've had from Wendy KGB lately.

Fries were hot and on point, another unusually positive experience. Add in a FFCoke and it was an adequate meal. I'd still rather go anywhere else but today BK was OK.

The onion sucks at this dominos. Both in quality and cook. Chicken was good. I love dominos bacon.

Brooklyn style is miles better than hand tossed.

Both are a steal at 8 bucks each.

I also picked up 3 for $5 Wendy's sandwiches as it was on the way. Those in the fridge. Should be good for food for today and maybe tomorrow.

Why does the hand-tossed crust look more like Brooklyn-style crust than the "Brooklyn style"?

Pass every time. Sometimes I'll order it for the family bc I'm not hungry and that way it's been satisfied in the mix. I'll have a slice: It's worse than a Red Baron.

Pizza's pizza tho so it's k. Their thin crust is pretty decent also, I'm just tired of their sauce after it was my parent's go-to.

Brooklyn style Pizza Hut was legit in like '01.

They've eschewed it and Domino's has swooped in with their bullshit. I remember it was like $8 and I watched it during a SNF game with Corey Dillon still on the Bengals.

Those were the days, green onions were on Taco Bell nachos and life was good. I think JITB still had Philly Cheesesteaks. Don't get me started.

Pizza is like sex. Even if it's bad, it's still pizza. We always eat it anyway.

QFT. Of the big 4, it's my only go-to. But I do prefer the deep-dish.

Also, my daughter (live at home in grad school) worked at the local D's. She showed up the 2nd week, so they made her asst manager. After the 4th week (it was probably longer) she quit because the dumass manager couldn't figure out how not to schedule her during classes. Also, 50+ hr week while trying to do grad school was non-optimal (she just wanted to be a CSR!)

I worked at McD's in HS, it ****ed me up. I still got ~A's but I was working until midnight and sleeping in class. Totally threw off my drive and focus.

I've told my HS daughter that FF is a no-go, she's persisted with this one local place that closes at 9 and probably won't need her for ever more than 25 hours so I've ok'd that recently.

Good thinking. I always default to pepperoni and sausage, leaving only one more topping.
