Had some Wendy’s breakfast last week. It was great, except for I really didn’t much care for the honey butter chicken biscuit. The breakfast baconator and the sausage egg and Swiss croissant were great, but the breakfast potatoes might be the best item. They should eliminate their weak fries in favor of them immediately.

Re: Arby's, I think they're pretty strong all around. Their fried chicken sandos were always good (not quite popeyes good but used to be near the top of the list), and I enjoy the market fresh sandwiches from time to time too. Beef n cheddar is a classic.

But, IMHO the plain 'ol roast beef sandwich gets overlooked, and it is really, really delicious. Just piles of their weird roast beef, with added horsey and arby's sauce. Simple can be better sometimes.

in a cruel twist of fate i just discovered a gyro place not that far away from us. they make a half lamb, half chicken shawarma gyro with spicy garlic sauce for $8 that is absolutely crave worthy. currently closed due to obvious reasons.

For me the best Arby’s sandwich is the double roast beef, and just load it up w horsey. I think the beef and cheddar cheese sauce is weak and it makes the you taste less horsey. Chicken bacon swiss and market fresh sandwiches can be good, but nothing tops the regular roast beef covered in horsey for me.
