The problem with BK onion rings is that when they're bad they are inedible and I think they are bad waaaaaaaay too often.

I'd definitely nuke it and scarf it down.

i would just eat the f-o-f cold.

went to bk today just for 1 single stacker and a diet coke. it was ok i guess but not nearly as good as the double stack at wendys and it's actually 20 calories more.

Serious lack of breakfast talk itt.

Mcds - 2 sausage mcmuffins (no egg) and a large coffee. 4 bucks.
If I feel especially hungry, add a sausage biscuit with egg.

Best fast food coffee available.

I went to McDonalds today for bfast and the coffee was free. That was nice.

And yeah, the sausage mcmuffins w/o egg are delicious and so are the sausage biscuits (also w/o egg).

Monday I tried Zaxby's for the first time. So now I'm totally hooked on Zaxby's.

Don't think Dickey's Barbecue Pit has been mentioned yet. Not everywhere, @160 stores. If you have one nearby you should try it. I've only tried the pulled pork sandwich, got to try the other stuff though.

Reheated filet-o-fish are marginal. What happens is that the tartar sauce gets all weird and separates.

A tartar free version should be fine. (or get tartar sauce on the side)

BTW Southern California residents, had a delicious Tommy's Chili Cheeseburger (extra mustard, pickles and chili FTW) tonight. Was excellent.

Its definitely close. But instead of shelling out the 2 bucks for another one, I always enjoy eating day old fast food that I either forgot about or was too drunk and passed out before finishing. Next day it just feels like free food, and theres nothing wrong with that!

The steak and egg bagel at McDs is the nut breakfast item, and I'd make a case for the southern chicken biscuit being the 2nd nuts

NateDiggity,

I can't say I have ever gotten a bad batch of BK onion rings, but the BK that I go to is arguably the cleanest fast food restaurant in my area...are the bad rings too soggy? Too crispy/overcooked?

The A and W in the town I live won the "President's Award" for the best A and W in Canada. My sister manages and owns 20 percent of it. I worked there in high school.

Confirmed best fast food I ever had.

Moar like PM's Award LohcanadaL.

Not a lot of sub talk in here from what I've noticed. Best sandwich out there: Potbelly's Big Tuna on wheat with everything (except tomatoes, but that's a personal hang-up).

Oh, and if you can stomach feeling like **** for the rest of the day, it's hard to beat the McGriddle when it comes to the tastiest breakfast item at McD's.

I guess I should have clarified. President of A and W, obviously. Lol.

But that's true. Canada definitely, at least where I live, has a very very limited fast food selection.

McDonald's, Burger King, A and W, Taco Time. That might almost be it. Wendy's, I guess.

Definitely not any of those. I'd say they tend to be cold and rubbery. I think the problem is that not a ton of people order onion rings so they tend to sit out for a while. And yeah, depending on the BK you go to, some will be more willing to throw those out and make new ones and some will be willing to let them sit until they get ordered.

fyp

I can't stand reheated fast food. Especially fries. They NEVER taste the same. It's different if you're heating up something like a burger in a small oven or something. Microwave is always off limits when it comes to reheating ****. If it's not made for the microwave, it doesn't go in.

Ok, I think we've talked about the dollar menu/cheap items a lot, and everyone has their favorites. How about any of the "high end" menu items? Are any worth the extra cost? A couple posts above mentioned the steak and egg bagel from McD's for breakfast. This is way more expensive than the other choices? Worth it?
