I was at Popeyes today and no chicken sandwich. Pretty unreal that they couldn’t throw a bunch of money at this “problem” and get it going while the demand is hot......or they don’t care and love the build up again and will be fully stocked. Gotta strike while the iron is hot imo

You can sheer a sheep many times, but skin him only once.

See, I don’t really feel this way...I like sweet potatoes and yams a lot. More now than I ever have, but I didn’t think I ever had them when I was younger.

Having said that, there’s this place in town that has amazing bar food, including this excellent sweet potato tots, that come with a little powder sugar sprinkled on them. They’re fantastic but, after like 5-6 of them I’m completely over them...so, I kinda feel you, sorta.

Yeah $24 seems reasonable (..?) for that

Well since they're targeting a niche market I can see them pricing it a little more than we'd expect.

That looks like it would put me into a food coma for a week. But it would be so worth it.

I would be bigly shocked if the burger plus shake was $24. $40 is more my guess.

Just had Chick Fil A mac & cheese for the first time. Thought it tasted like microwaved Stoufers. Would not get again (maybe if it was 1/2 the price it is now).

After seeing many commercials, I recently sampled Boston Markets prime rib dinner.

$17 gets you about a 10oz piece of meat, 2 sides and cornbread.

The prime rib was cooked incredibly well and tasted great. They offered horseradish and au jus on the side.

I didn't know the pricing before I arrived and I expected it to be slightly cheaper. It's about $8-10 cheaper (with no tip) than low-end steak chains serving prime rib dinners.

Surprising great value for the quality even if it was the most expensive fast food item I have ever purchased.

I used a BK coupon tonight, double cheeseburger meal for 3 bucks. Not too bad, despite this particular branch having a horrible track record, was even closed for a couple years there. It's a little spiffier inside, and the workers weren't totally incompetent, so things are looking up hahaha. I'm gonna go back and use this generous receipt coupon next week, free whopper with any puchase so I'll spring for either the dollar taco or the 1.50 nuggets.
