The original chicken sandwich at BK is awesome, I'll have to look back and see how people could hate on it. That being said, I think I prefer wendy's spicy chicken a bit bettter^^. That kick is good.

also i ordered the spicy chicken mcbites at mcdonalds a couple of weeks ago and they were amazing. they were like mini-popeyes spicy chicken strips.

i've ordered them twice since and they weren't even edible.

Not a fan of the BK chicken sandwich. Paid $1.04 for one today and it wasn't even worth it.

had a Dairy Queen flatgrill chicken-ranch BLT today, pretty damn good. The Dairy Queens around here have really sucked in the last year or two because of the cheapo Pakistani takeover (lol prejudices) but this chicken actually had clear juices dripping out from it.

Not sure how many DQ's there are around now, but definitely try this if you're around one.

im a eurotard and would like to know if you have a McDouble at McD, too?
its a cheeseburger with 2 pattys instead of one for 1,50 instead of 1€.
about the only burger i eat there, cause im pretty broke all the time.

we also have a 50% bigger bigmac atm, but i hate the extra-bread in the middle and i lose too much sauce, salat and whatever if i take it off.

if mc double is 1$, how much is a cheeseburger?

1.50€x 1.25(in $) = a lot more than 1$, no coool !

now ill do the math for when oversea-shipping is profitable for me.
will be back with the break-even amount shortly.

Just when we were getting over Watergate and Vietnam, they raised the price of the double cheeseburger to $1.29.

As a sop they left us with the sorry-ass dollar McDouble. Never forget.

Where you been? Long time ago, double cheeseburger was on the dollar menu, and was very popular. As the profit margin began to disappear, they took off a slice of cheese and called it the McDouble. The extra slice of cheese now costs 29c.

I'm more disappointed the 4 mcnuggets for a $1 was taken away.

McNuggets and drive thru are the only reason to go to McDs. In NJ you can get 20 for $4.99.

At at least one local McD's for me (Atlantic City), they have taken the double cheeseburger to 1.99. McDouble still $1, so 1 piece of cheese seems to cost 99 cents. (Although I thought the patties might be a little smaller than a normal hamburger/cheeseburger, anyone confirm they are the same size?)

I had no problem with the 29 cent upcharge for a piece of cheese, but I don't see how I can justify an extra buck for a slice of American.

The loss of the 4 piece nuggets for $1 was also indeed a disappointment. It was always fun to see 4 nuggets = $1, 6 nuggets = $2.49.

Everything is ordered individually; no meals.

The burgers are better than anything else in the same space because:
1. cooked to order
2. never frozen angus beef
3. egg buns
4. "big smash" is ~ half pound

The fries and smash fries are both very good.

The shakes are the best I've ever had at a fast food place, I think it is because of their heavy use of milk and Häagen-Dazs and the fact that they are made in a normal sized blender and not some industrial behemoth.

I could not taste anything special about the shake. Tasted like an average shake you would get at a Dennys type joint.

(I also had food poisoning that night...)
I ate at SB in Tulsa too recently.

It was good, but $11 for a cheeseburger, smash fries and a soda (not a shake) is a bit much.

The burger was pretty good, but the fries where just ok, not as good as I was expecting. I think mine were stale too....

That's what I like about In n out, it's pretty cheap but the burgers are still very tasty

To all those who hate In n out fries you should just stop eating FF fries altogether. If you don't like the taste of russet potatoes cut and cooked right in front of you, what else is there?

Animal style fries FTW

agreed. havent had any fast food other than chipotle and subway for a while and decided to splurge the 1.04 and even get a large onion rings with the dipping sauce. The large seemed really small

the sandwhich was so sad lol a blob of mayo and 6 shreds of wilted lettuce. I did read that for a dollar you can upgrade to get like tomoatos/cheese/bacon.

Idk who is paying 4 or 5 bucks for that sandwhich though.
