I hit Taco Bell on occasion after a late shift because it's about the only thing open at 1am, and a Beefy Frito Burrito and two chicken mini quesadillas are pretty damn good for $3.25.

A couple nights ago I bought a grande meal (app said 10.99 but after ordering in drive thru its 13.99. Jfc) consisting of half bean burritos and half soft tacos. Ate 4 burritos, 1.5 soft tacos, and two empanadas. I cant believe I used to like those soft tacos, I can hardly stomach them now. The soft warm tortilla in the beans is fun. I asked for Diablo sauce and they gave me exactly zero packets of sauce for my 10 items. Usually get 5+ packets no matter what you order.

It's generally a 1am snack before going to bed at 2a - the bean and cheese burrito is great, but I think I'd be overstuffed for sleeping....

I check the BK app about once a week out of curiosity, it seems like all the coupons read "Final day!" every day now. They've also managed to basically insert pop-up ads in the app, where if you click on what's put it front of you it forces you to the order screen. It's like they're trying to trick you from looking at the app deals or something my God Burger King.

Back at it. Everything is still good, rotating burger and grilled chicken with an occasional salad tossed in. They've only got me for 5 dollars in additional purchases so far!

Haven't done crispy chicken or black bean yet but turkey, beef, and grilled have all been very good.

I actually had a chik fil a double header last night. Valueowned myself and ordered a spicy chicken sandwich at the airport when the free chicken sandwich didn't work, then got my regular free one with a waffle fries on the ride home.

I found opportunity for a Del Taco visit tonight, and a chance to try the double cheeseburger for the first time. I also got an Epic triple meat burrito. Both items were avove expectation. The burger isnt that big, but it is excellently composed. The burrito on the other hand was quite large and filled with meat. Add a FFMP and you're doing great.

God how I miss my go-to order of four del tacos and a double del cheeseburger. The lack of Del Taco, JITB, and franchises opting out of app deals make this area a fast food desert.

I have talked about it before itt, but bah gawd Chick fil a breakfast is so amazing. I'm not near one so only get it once or twice a year, had one this morning and it was 100 A+.

Spicy chicken egg and (pepperjack) cheese biscuit
Side buttered biscuit (some bites just butter, some add honey or strawberry jam)
Hash brown rounds with CFA sauce
Frosted coffee

It's just perfect. I would actually say you'd be OK w/o the hash browns, but they're cheap ($1.29 IIRC) and even a couple of bites with the CFA sauce is a delicious side item to include.
