Meat sauce!

Actually, you can add meat for an extra $3 or so. And that is refillable too.

I had a coupon mailed to me for a $4 entree at smashburger that I hit up this evening. Decided on a crispy chicken buffalo and blue cheese sandwich. Had to wait a little bit longer than anticipated which is never a big deal for me because at least I know it’s fresh. Sandwich was very solid and tasty at $4 but can’t imagine paying normal price of $7.98 or something. That smashburger pass could get good use if you lived super close by one or worked by one. You could mix it up quite a bit and throw a salad in there every once in awhile....maybe

Yeah, to get 20% back you basically have to go once a week for the 100 days ordering the most expensive burgers or sandwiches.

I agree, that is another good option. It's just all my Red Lobsters are a bit of a drive away from home.

There's a secret menu wrt the endless shrimp. Tempura shrimp and/or cape cod encrusted shrimp. I asked for the later but they didn't know about that so I got the former. It was pretty good. You can also get garlic grilled from their regular menu. While supplies last, etc...

I went to Ricks and had a $6 QPC meal with a pumpkin pie. I think that's a good deal in this day and age. The pumpkin pie was pretty nice.

There was an app offer for free breakfast sandwich with any purchase, so I made my foray into the triple stacks. I tried to get the McGriddles version, but they dont do those in the day anymore. So I got the mcmuffin version - at 750 calories, its the healthiest of the 3 options! Too much imo. But it was tasty af, would pair nicely with a quart of high pulp OJ!

Had Wendy's 4 for $4 today with JBCB and used the app to get an extra 4 nuggets for free. Sweet and sour and honey mustard sauces.

Trying shake shack for the first time today. Should I go burger + chicken sandwich? Burger + hot dog? Or just stick with a double burger?

Just had a Triple Stack that looked just like BH's above, and I concur, it was TASTY AF! The extra layers of sausage, bacon, and cheese make it so much better. Get yo ass down to Rick's and shove a triple into it asap, and it'll thank you for it later.

1st time order, I would just stick with a Double Shackburger, so you can start at the baseline, compare it to other regular FF burgers, and still leave room for even better experiences in the future. Add onion or pickle if you like, their pickle is the best in the FF game.

If you want to just go straight to advanced orders, the following are all great:

Smoke Shack (all-natural applewood smoked bacon, chopped cherry pepper, ShackSauce)

Shack Stack (Shackburger + crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato, ShackSauce)

Local specialty burger (in So Cal, the Roadside Double: Double burger with Swiss cheese, Dijon mustard, slow-simmered onions cooked in bacon and beer)

I'm a big fan of the cheesy Portobello topped burger

The BOGO receipt survey thing now says bogo sandwich instead of just egg muffin. Wonder if two of those triple stacks at one sitting would kill the average person.

Pretty sure at least half this thread is down for that challenge.

One was filling enough for breakfast, but there's still plenty of room left for bigger appetites, so it wouldn't be a problem for many itt.

Back from shake shack. Went with the double classic shack burger (american cheese, shack sauce, lettuce, tomato - forgot the advice to add pickles which i'm kicking myself for, i love pickles); cheese fries; and vanilla custard mixed with pumpkin pie.

The highlight was the burger, which was very good, although not like another level compared to a good 5G franchise I didn't think. I thought it was a little salty, but very juicy, good char on the burger, bun was good. Very enjoyable, but fairly small patties so seemed a bit pricey at ~$9.50.

Cheese fries were very forgettable. Next time I wouldn't pay extra for cheese sauce, and I'd be fine skipping fries all together. At least the portion was big, but i'd much rather have 5G fries.

Frozen custard was disappointing, I didn't think the pie was that good and I thought the vanilla custard was totally generic. My friend said the strawberry shake was excellent though.

I'd give it a B- overall. I think it was $18 and change, which feels too expensive for what I got. I'd be up for going again, but I doubt I will go myself very often. There's a local chain (Great State Burgers) right down the block that has a similar tasting burger, frozen crinkle-cut fries, and Jones Soda on tap, and you'd get out for a buck or two cheaper. I'm pretty sure I'd always go with them.

The shakes are really divine, not sure why you didn’t get one.

Well I didn't know shakes >> custard here. Plus, I actually approached the kiosk with full intention of buying a shake, but I could only get it to offer me a chocolate shake. I went to pick flavors, but only chocolate was visible. I panic-switched to the custard when I couldn't get the full flavor options on the shakes.

Yeah custard was a bad play unfortunately. Only place to get custard as a must is Culvers
