Chick Fil A suckered me in with some free app fries today so I drop $13 on a spicy, 8 nuggets, 2 strips and a FF Coke with copious sauces.

Immaculate as always

An impressive haul. Had In N O today and will say the fries done lightly well have grown on me. My friend got her fries animal style and they were delightful as well, never had the gall to try it myself. They’re still fairly low ceiling ketchup and salt vehicles as far as FF fries go but I’m thinking that their floor is higher than some places since they’re always fresh.

What’s the deal with sushi?
The fish is raw.
The price is high.
You only get a little bit.
Why is it so popular!?!?
actually the fish doesn't have to be raw for it to be considered sushi

Maybe. Lots of people in this forum are dicks. The difference between them and you is that they are funny dicks or good posting dicks. You are a bad posting dick.

You've been given plenty of examples of your bad posting, and you refuse to learn from it, you just double down on the bad posting.

For example, your "correction" of McLovin's post was wrong. He didn't say that all sushi everywhere at all times contains raw fish. He used the generalization that sushi often has raw fish, and in most people's minds, usually has raw fish, and joked about it. The context was clear, and everyone understood what he meant. Your "correction" didn't actually correct him, it was just a stupid nit that doesn't even apply to his post. To make this point clear, he also said that the price of sushi is high. Your "correction" is similar to saying, "Well ackshually...the price does not have to be high for it to be considered sushi! Lol pwned u noob!1!1!1!" Nope. You're just wrong and being a dick. And a bad posting one at that.

Cliffs: You made a bad post. Then when called out for it, you doubled down on the bad posting. You need to stop that.

ok, so maybe the sushi correcting was a bad post (even though sushi actually means flavored rice). Where else have I posted poorly in ott? be specific.

I assume that 27 was out having fun last night or went to bed early or whatever, but that when he gets back to this forum, between this and the Containment thread, he's gonna have himself a good ol' Metallica flexing time.

To get this thread back to FF where it belongs: yesterday, like JIDC, I had CFA, and it was excellent as always (original with extra pickles, 3 nuggets, 1 strip, fries, and a FFL (strange nuggets & strip #'s bc they were leftovers from kids)).

One thing that bothered the inner nit in me is that the combo meal prices are different for different items. I'm not talking about the total price, but the increase in price from the item to the meal, which should be the same, since you're getting the exact same thing each time, fries and a drink. The increase in price at my CFA is $3.10, $3.20, or $3.30, depending on what item/meal you're getting. I've noticed this at multiple CFA's before.

I guess this post could also be made in the 'things that shouldn't piss you off but do' thread, because I don't actually care about paying the 10 to 20 cent difference, but it annoys me that the difference exists and that the nit in me notices it and is annoyed by it. Has this ever been discussed itt before, or has anyone else noticed it and been annoyed by it?

It’s not just CFA, last time I went to Rick’s I noticed similar variance, up to 50 cents.

I’m burned out on fries and rarely get a drink so nbd.

Also, I was looking at the CFA website and noticed something new called Mealtime Kits.

Seasoned crisp chicken with tomato sauce and Italian cheeses, served with creamy garlic and lemon pasta

Seasoned crisp chicken served with homemade smoked Gouda macaroni and cheese and sautéed green beans

Chicken enchiladas with cheese, onions, peppers, beans seasoned with Mexican flavors, and Chick-fil-A Creamy Salsa dressing

Apparently these are meal kits that you pick up at CFA that are similar to the Blue Apron, Hello Fresh, etc meal kit concept. They're available in the Atlanta area, not sure if they've expanded to other areas yet. Is anyone itt in the Atlanta area?

Speaking of new region-specific items, I also came across the new Frosted Key Lime that is now available...in Austin.

A fun twist on one of America’s favorite treats, Frosted Key Lime is a hand-spun combination of Vanilla IceDream, Chick-fil-A Lemonade, and natural, sugar-free lime flavoring made from a blend of key limes, kaffir limes and Persian limes.

DO WANT! Austin peeps, buy this in droves, so that it'll make its way to the rest of us!

Almost fast food, Beecher's frozen mac & cheese at Costco is amazing.

Actual fast food, the grilled tacos at Taco Time are better than pretty much anything I've had from Taco Bell.
