Maybe a McChicken is different over where you are.

This is a US McChicken: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi.../McChicken.jpg

A mcchicken looks just like that in Canada too and is > 3$

Of course anyone who gets a mcchicken over a crispy chicken sucks at life here.

Someone mentioned this in another thread, and I tried it recently.
McD's will put BigMac sauce on any sandwich free of charge. I had one recently and it was pretty damn good. Ghetto BigMac imo. Give it a try next time. Ensures they make it fresh to order too.

I've never tried 5guys before. Went last night at 10:15pm and they were closed.....then tried Chick-fila............closed as well...........

I shed a tear and just went home. FML

They charge for that now, in Canada at least. It was good while it lasted!

Every sandwich at McD's is made "fresh to order (if you can call it that.)" If you really want it fresh to order, you have to order it "hot n' fresh."

Yeah, they charge here too...

I think it's an extra 50c per sandwich to add toppings that are not normally on it.

Are you one of those avant-garde posters I keep hearing about? Your use of quotation marks intrigues me.

Had lunch at McDonald's today. Five-piece chicken selects (no meal, just the strips), and a small shamrock shake. $6.87. The chicken selects were predictably excellent; they're one of the few items I ever order at McD's. 8/10.

I know people go nuts for the shamrock shake, but I didn't really dig it. It definitely had a toothpastey vibe. 4/10. I will be sticking with chocolate in the future.

Shoutout to the table of teen girls that were giving me looks. I'm gonna pretend it was a "he's cute" scenario and not a "what kind of loser eats lunch in McDonald's by himself?"

nah i dont think so. the dcb is the most ridicously priced item on the menue here. a single cheseburger is 1€, a double 2.50€ and a mcdouble (pretty much a double cheeseburger but with one slice of cheese) is 1.50€ go figure that out.

You are talking about the value meal. The value menu is something different--a selection of the cheapest items on the menu, often all priced at $1. Carefully curated value menu orders can result in more food and a lower price than a value meal order.

A lot of love for McDs fish ITT, but are there any other places that have a good fish sandwich? I'd like something that at least has lettuce.

just saw a commercial for a wendy's fish sandwich that looked like it blows the filet-o-fish out of the water. i'll probably never get it though, because ... filet-o-fish mother****er!!

I try not to eat fast food too much but +1 for the fries at Checkers. They are the only fast food joint where I think the fries resemble something that's edible.

Meximelts from Taco Bell are really good too.

IIRC it costs like $4 and is ok but calling a Cod sandwich a premium fish sandwich makes me lol so i haven't gotten it since the first time i tried it last year. A proper wendy's meal still consists of at least two of these items: Spicy chicken, nuggets (regular or spicy), Double Baconator, Double stack, frosty.

I used to include the JBC but it has gotten too small to be a core Wendy's selection.

Yo, obv too late, but if you're short on cash and going to McD's, the McDouble over the double chsburger all day.. It's like 40 or 50 cents less for the exact same thing just one less slice of cheese.

Also, that pic is of the junior McChicken here (Canada). The one we are paying ~4 bucks for is bigger and way better. Junior chickens kinda suck. Sorry America. You had regular McChickens til like a year ago (maybe longer, I can't remember..), no?

It's pretty decent, and actually a pretty good size, but nowhere near the repeat eatability of a Filet o fish.

i don't think i remember seeing this place mentioned, but I just went to Culvers.

This place is so ridiculously heart attack inducing, i'm actually glad it's not close to me.

they are known for their butterburgers and their deep fried cheese curds. i got both, and they were delicious. burger cooked with butter? deep friend cheese!

i felt so ****ty after, but the during was so good.

Yeah, Culver's is bomb. Double Bacon Butterburger ftw, the fries/ketchup are also amazing.

Culver's chicken strips are also great, as is (surprisingly) the cod piece dinner.

Frozen Custard
Butter Burgers

The first time we encountered one, I actually went inside to find out what this strange concoction of both custard and burger could possible be.

no way! when did this get put in? I go to school literally on the corner of park and tremont everyday and didn't know about this, damn i'm going to go there right after this class

+1 to Culver's being very good, the Double Deluxe with cheese curds is outstanding (and very filling). Their fries are kind of meh -- cheese curds are the way to go for sure.
