WOW. Well done. How did they tell you that you were cut off? What was your response?

I've had some servers get very reluctant to keep bringing the Cheddar Bay Biscuits for me after 3 or 4 baskets, but they never had the gall to actually cut me off.

I don't really get why anyone at a chain restaurant like this would care about biscuit consumption, anyway. If they're servers or whatever, they get paid hourly and stopping the bread train is not gonna help their tips. And if they're managers worried about the bottom line, the costs that can come with pissing someone off by cutting them off (bad word of mouth, lack of repeat business, social media backlash, etc.) are far more expensive than the cost of however many pieces of bread any person could possibly eat.

People talk about value for Calories per dollar in this thread. 13 rolls is a smooth ~2000 "free" Calories before the meal begins. Nicely done.

I would also like to know what they said to cut you off.

At work and thirsty af, in desperate need of the Doctor to stave off certain death. I go to Wendys and get $4 doublestack meal, LARGE fat ****ing Dr. please. I ask for honey mustard, nope. Bbq sauce, no, out of that too. Whatever, I tell her, I really dont give a **** I just want the FFDP and the doublestack is a nice compliment.

I get up there and pay, and she asks what was the drink again? Dr. Pepper! Sorry, we're out. Djvahfklrhthdhdjdjd!!!!! Are you ****ing kidding me?! Felt like I got punched in the throat.

If I were a slightly less reasonable person, I would have gone full McNuggets lady.

Unless you're speaking Dr. Pepper in my mouth, then STFU!!!

Theyre going to throw me in jail for being a soda pop fiend. Had a Gargantuan and FFDP earlier, large Mello Yello at Wendys, and now working over a Big Gulp of Solar Flare.

The 2 for $6 deal is good but the Arby's $1 Happy Hour sliders are unbeatable.

BH, was this the lake city location? That's the closest one to me and is a bottom 10% operation. Ate there two nights ago, they were out of bbq sauce, tartar sauce, pump ketchup (thankfully they did have packets), kids meal drinks and kids meal toys. All of which they told you only after you asked, not when you ordered and paid.

They also routinely run 4 to 5 minutes per car in the drive thru.

Bizarrely started wondering if you stifle burps or just blast them out in public.

Please reply.

None of the stores in the area do the happy hour deal, definitely unhappy about that.

Would it be confusing for non-Texans that, in Texas, that is referred to as chicken fried steak?

TRH has HQ in KY and was founded in Indiana, so it doesn't have any ties TX, but I think the country has learned what other Texas-based dishes like queso and fajitas are, so why not chicken fried steak too?

I've known it as chicken fried steak forever, I grew up with my dad from CA calling it that. It was on the applebee's menu as such when I went there over a decade ago, too.

Used to be called Logan's Texas Roadhouse. They split off. Think Logan's is mainly defunct now.

CFS is mainly a southern thing. Normally called chicken fried steak also.

Queso and fajitas are Mexican maybe tex mex, if you want to get nitty. That stuff is prevalent in California/Arizona/New Mexico also
