How did you order? Just Big Mac with QPC meats? I need to try it, Monday is my Big Mac day.

Made a rare trip this AM to McDs for breakfast and, even rarer, ordered a bacon McGriddle rather than my usual Egg McMuffin. It was indulgently delicious but after subbing in an OJ it set me back nearly $9 for the combo! Pro play is just to max out sandwiches i guess since neither extra item adds much. Might have to try a new QPC at some point because they do look rather tasty.

Jiggy,

MarkK would not approve of your $9 purchase!

Overall I'd concur: decent pizza but nothing to get excited about, but value wise the rating goes up - it's really hard to eat lunch for < $9 in Seattle and they achieve it.

They also had a canned red wine that I tried last time I went - it was good, and you are getting ~2.5 glasses worth of wine for $7. Nice accompaniment if you are in the mood.
Yep, Mod has to be a couple of degrees higher in value in the Seattle area than most other areas. I can get a full meal for my family each with our own choices for less than 30? Yes please. Better than two ****ty pizzas from Papa John's.

Not downloading FF apps is a conscious health choice by me, $9 for breakfast serves as an effective deterrent to gluttony

Got to experience Chick Fil A FAIL today.

Drove through for a sandwich and a frosted lemonade. Sandwich was good but the frosted lemonade had 15 or 20 lemon seeds in it. Which of course are small enough to be sucked through a straw and therefore annoying.

I feel like if you complain about that you’ll get hooked up thoroughly.

Ditto. I love value and the last thing I need is getting random coupons on an app when I have 25 fast food chains within 5 miles of me.

I'd pass on it if for no other reason than Chili's.

I tried a falafel pita at Little Greek last night. It was pretty good. It was big enough that I didn't need the side of rice I got with it, which was also pretty good.

I like Chili's in general and the nearby one where I lived in CA had great service. But that thing has too much non-burger stuff for me.

I stop by my local Taco Bell a couple times per week after work.

Guess I've gotten on their good side as they now regularly grant me the 10% senior discount despite being in my early 30's.

If this continues, I will save roughly $60 on the year, thats like one of my monthly cell phone bills paid by TB. Life is good.

Also less total cell phone bills if you factor in the years of life it'll take off. Win win

Taco Bell'd the other night, went with the wild naked chalupa box + cheesy bean and rice burrito. As others have said, on the first bite of the naked chalupa the overwhelming thought was "this tastes exactly like a mcchicken patty". I imagine the mild version tastes exactly like a mcchicken w/o the bun. But, the wild sauce was pretty tasty and made the whole thing decent to eat. $2.99 seems like terrible value, but $5.49 including two tacos and a drink wasn't too bad since I wanted a drink (and note, the 3 plain tacos meal was $5.79).

I don't think I've had a plain taco bell taco in a long time (i usually don't order combos) - it was better than I expected it to be, a perfectly decent vehicle for eating fire sauce. I wouldn't order them specifically but was fine having them on the tray.

The best thing I ate was the cheesy bean and rice burrito, which are always delicious. The best bites are ones with no beans actually: just balls of rice, tortilla, cheese and jalapeno sauce. It's no $1 double stack, but it is maybe my favorite $1 item across fast food right now.

How long has it been since we've had lava sauce? Several years right? I feel like it's overdue to return.

Not sure how many of you have access to Naf Naf Grill, seems to be mostly a midwest deal.

Its a chipotle style middle eastern restaurant, the Shawarma bowl is pretty good. Great Hot Sauces. Comes out to about 9 bucks for a lunch, worth checking out if you have one.

What's the deal with the pricing at Five Guys?

What is it? You have to pay each guy the price of an average hamburger to eat there?
