I too remember being disappointed by the Costco turkey pesto sandwich as pesto is Malucci bait. Was disappointing and remembered being upset at myself for not getting a dog or pizza instead.

The couple times I've gotten it, it was well toasted from the oven, almost panini-like, and the cheese was not only melted, but the part that oozes out onto the metal tray (but still connected to the sandwich) gets crispy-burned and brown. So good.

Maybe I've just run well.

Just got a Whataburger coupon in the mail for their new buffalo ranch chicken sandwich, it's leading my ff to-do list today. 2 offers on it, either a free sandwich with purchase of med fries and med drink or a free sandwich with purchase of a #1-#5 Whatameal. I'll probably go with the former, as I did with the previous mushroom swiss burger.

This is true. I quite like Costco churros, but they don't compare to anything genuine thats close to the border.

BTW, an FYI for any Costco shoppers: My Costco quit carrying Hagen Daz bars. (!!!) They've been replaced by a Kirkland clone. The good news is that I think the Kirkland version is actually better! The bar has the same amount of ice cream but it's flatter and wider. This results in a larger surface of chocolate and almonds. Quality of ingredients seem the same. $10 for 18 bars.

ZOMG! Once upon a time they sold the same ****ing amazing ice cream bars in the freezer that they sold at the lunch counter. Maybe they're bringing back the old ice cream bars!

I just had the Whataburger, it was excellent, also huge. A big tangy orange boat of a fried chicken sandwich. But I haven't been to Arby's since the turn of the century so I can't really compare and contrast.

I was underwhelmed by the brisket, especially for the price. I think both the pizza slices and chicken bakes beat it on both taste and value. I've only had the brisket once (because disappointment), but maybe I'll revisit.

I like the brisket sandwich, and wish my Costco still had it instead of their new chili.

But this guy's praise is so over the top that Lincoln Hawk is embarrassed for him.

Found out from a friend that point blank asked a wendy’s cashier about the quasi spicy chickens. She said they use smaller ones for the value request. Could be a franchise thing, but not surprisingly the 2/$6 isn’t advertised there.

Had a Wendy’s binge, their chicken tenders were absolutely awful. Nuggets were way better. Like...just the worst chicken tenders you could expect. You blew it Wendy’s.
