Wendy's tenders were great. Possibly the best tenders I've ever had.

They were super juicy, very tasty, and with not too much breading.

What a gambler! I mean, glad it worked out for you...but what a gambler!

Had a weird day regarding food. Didn't really eat all day, and when I looked at the leftovers that were at home, nothing looked good and I really didn't want to cook. So I did what I usually do in those situations and went to Wawa.

Cheesesteak with Provolone, Onions, Jalepenos black pepper and (this might sound weird on a beef cheese steak rather than a chicken cheesesteak) a side of buffalo sauce to dip in. I tried this one day and can't get enough. I highly recommend. (Could go pepper jack, too, but I like provolone better.)

I like your style Boney526.

I've had a cheesesteak and dipped it in buffalo sauce. It was really ****in' good.

Rice bowls are normally about $9-$10
Speaking of Pei Wei, what are people's favorite orders there and opinions on different dishes?

I like their honey seared chicken, the new orange chicken, Pei Wei spicy chicken (now Pei Wei original), Mongolian beef, and lettuce wraps.

Have never tried their sushi, nor am I inclined to. Same for their poke salad bowls, although I'd listen to a good review.

Am curious about their Dan Dan noodles, Pad Thai, and Japanese steak and chile shrimp ramen. Am interested in trying them sometime, but doubt they're as good as their classic dishes.

That place is pretty crack to me patron. I got their General Tso like 5 days a week for lunch for a while. That’s probably my favorite. Not a huge fan of the Chili ramen and never tried the Pad Thai. I like their green tea over ice, very healthy.

Bighurt - Your arteries thank you, and your taste buds curse you.

Samuri - Sounds good, I'll give it a try sometime. Amusingly, their General Tso's is "tossed in an umami rich sesame sauce", but their Sesame is "tossed in a sweet and tangy soy chile citrus glaze".

The Thai Mango sounds like it could be really good or really bad.

Your favorites are pretty much my favorites. One thing I recently learned from using the app is how much you can customize a dish... e.g. extra spicy, extra sauce, extra peanuts, no onions etc... Also there are two grades of the meat. Interesting. I never knew you could do all that.

BTW, the "extra sauce on the side" option is great. Perfect for dipping or using on the rice.

Just stopped by KFC right when they opened and got their new crispy colonel sandwich fill up box. Not quite chick fil a good but it was way better than McDonald's or JITB and they give you option of Nashville hot, Georgia gold or regular. Thinking I just flopped the nuts as it was piping hot and fresh. Would definitely get again

The pad Thai at Pei Wei is very distinct and not in a good way iirc.

Georgia Gold is one of my favorites. I might have to indulge sometime soon.

Yup, their app/online ordering is awesome. I think they give you the exact same options that the cashiers have on their order screens, so there are like 30 options for some dishes.

What do you mean by two grades of meat though? I don't see that option.

Sidenote: The new orange chicken is only $5 as its usual price, so if there are no discounts available at the time, you can always customize that option and get it on rice, salad, add extra vegetables or noodles for 0.99, etc. You can also change the protein and get the steak or shrimp for $6. Not sure how the steak would taste with orange sauce, but the shrimp should be okay.

Totally! I get extra sauce with every order, and use some of the extra with other meals.

Yeah, that's what it seemed like to me, so I've stayed away so far, even though curious. Thanks for the confirmation. I think it might be due to their sweet & sour sauce, which I didn't like when I tried it once before.

I'm still curious about the Dan Dan noodles though, since their ground chicken is fine in the lettuce cups and their chile soy sauce is fine in other dishes.

I like the Mongolian beef tossed in noodles. Chicken wraps are solid as well. For you PW fans that haven't, sign up for their rewards program or follow their Twitter. They frequently have nice deals.

It was a reading comprehension problem on my end:

"Extra Fresh House-Cut White Meat Chicken +$1.99"

My mind read that as 'extra fresh' lol

Wife loves the Dan Dan noodles. I'm a big fan of anything honey or the pei wei spicy

App specializations make fast food so much better. I hate having to do customizations at the drive thru window because the rate of **** ups is so high. But if I want a Bean burrito at Tbell sans onions, add bacon, add potato, add nacho cheese... well now I can do it an know that the order the makers are seeing is the same one I gave them.

So true! Prior to the McD's app, I would rarely customize my order. Now using the app, I almost always make changes.

Mark, that's funny. I'm now imagining a cashier asking - Would you like the fresh chicken, or the extra fresh chicken?

Master, I like all the items you mentioned, so that's a good rec for the Dan Dan noodles, will try.

I grew up in the north and recently moved to the south. Decided to get some Krystal for the first time, my wife laughed as I ordered a big box on 4/20. Got some wings, loaded fries and Krystal case. Overall, good, but I'm giving White Castle the nod in favor of the two. I like mustard, but having them on a slider burger just didn't work for me. Wings were decent, but damn were they hot, and I like spicy food. Almost too hot to enjoy. I would probably skip ordering them in the future. The loaded fries though were the nuts. Cooked perfectly and loaded up with toppings that made them superb. Wife didn't like the burger or the wings, but loved the fries.
