Some TB's have different prices than others.

One I go to has Stackers for $1. The next one they're $1.29.

One had four rolled chicken tacos for $3.99. The other store it's $6.99.

went to college in Oklahoma and LOVE Braum's; damn good FF burger and delicious shakes (to say nothing of their ice cream)! Lots of people in Oklahoma buy ALL their dairy products at Bruam's iirc.

Very limited area because they won't allow their delivery drivers to be on the road overnights; all their stores are located within a day's drive from their HQ/distro plant just south of OKC.

Best shakes in Dallas.

My recommendation to anyone visiting the Chicagoland area would have to be Portillos. Whether you're looking for a hot dog, jumbo dog, cheeseburger, Italian beef dipped with mozzarella cheese and hot or sweet peppers, you can't go wrong here.
Portillo's is solid and has more variety but Al's Beef hasa a better italian beef imo

Since TB has potatoes, they should have created a potato supreme by now. I would buy that.

For some reason the local news here was reporting on those Taco Bell fries (I mean I assume they were paid) - I bet they are delicious

An order of the fries is just $1. Because this is Taco Bell, all fries can also be ordered Supreme-style for $2.49 or Bell Grande-style for $3.49, which means they'll come nacho-fied, with toppings like melted cheese, ground beef, pico de gallo, or sour cream.<Jan 3, 2018>
sounds better than sex.

Wife and I got a couple of Charburgers and a smattering of sides from Habit for lunch today, first time we’ve had it in months (they opened one by us recently, the others are out of town). That’s still the best FF burger package as far as I’m concerned, slightly ahead of Wendy’s and In n Out though admittedly those are the main places I eat so I can’t reasonably compare to like Carl’s. Everything tastes fresh and the burgers were just perfectly put together so that each bite was fantastic. Not terrible for ~$17 without drinks since we ordered more than we would normally expect to eat.

Jiggy,

I agree habit is very good ff burger and better than in and out. Don’t worry about comparing to Carl’s; those burgers are disgusting.

Portillo's is amazing fast food readily available in Chicagoland area. Al's is also great and I agree they have a better Italian beef + giardiniera.

However, Italian beef is kind of similar to cheesesteaks in Philly. There's a few very famous places to get it from, but the places that do it best are generally local places (usually pizza places). My personal fav is Jay's in Wicker Park.

There is a Portillos across town I need to check out. Also a new Chicago style pizza place that does Italian beef sandwiches. Tried the pizza first, only thing was it was a thin crust. Didn't know Chicago did thin crust. Will try the beef soon.

Chicago thin crust is legit. I prefer NY style, and I love deep dish, but Chicago has very good thin crust pizza. 90% of the time I order thin crust, even though I live in the belly of the beast.

As long as I'm spamming the thread I might as well add...

Italian beef pizza is amazing. Thin crust + Italian beef + giardineria + fresh garlic = best pizza ever.

Chicago thin crust style pizza is so underrated. Detroit style pizza is also unheralded and delicious.
