Yeah, it happens sometimes. For example, if I ordered a combo meal and then say "and a large fries" and they upgrade the medium fries that comes with the combo to a large fries instead of adding a large fries either because they can't work the cash register or misinterpreted my request.

Smart employees usually figure out that there was a miscommunication but the less able assume that you forgot what you ordered 50 seconds ago.

The difference between the breakfast stuff you get during regular breakfast hours and outside those hours is absolutely massive at my nearest McDonalds. It's like 9/10 in the AM and 2/10 other times. Got a sausage biscuit, hashbrowns, and a sausage mcmuffin with egg ($$-$$$) today at about 2. The biscuit felt and tasted like it had once been nice and hot and greasy before, but had been allowed to cool and harden into almost suet. Hashbrowns were extremely undercooked, not crispy even at the very edges, but the mcmuffin was a disaster. The mcmuffin almost seemed like it hadn't even been BAKED, like undercooked pizza dough. The entire thing also smelled rotten, I'm like 50/50 I would have gotten sick if I ate that thing.

Just had the $5 tenders combo and my first son of Baconator. The burger was good, but i dont like the value at $5. Will only continue relations with his dad.

Taco bell drive thru last night

I hand the girl the money with the exact change (.51) and she completely drops all the change all over the ground. Im pretty close to the wall so it would be pretty hard to grab it so im waiting for her to say its ok or whatever since she dropped it. No the ***** is like you want me to just take it out of here? ( i gave her a 20 and 51 cents and it was 12.51) Im like wtf whatever i just grab her 2 more quarters and am like forget it. This little c u n t proceeds to then say it was .51 cents do you have the penny. I swear to god ive never been so close to crawling through a drive thru window but last night was close. If i wasnt starving and she didnt already have the 20 in hand i would have became my ultimate form. Still pissed today i didnt just ask for the money back and throw/spit/ do something to that *****.

You should have stood your ground sir. The drive through people usually sweep the area around the window every night for dropped change and they have a change reserve that they use to make up the difference.

I know Steak and Shake gets routinely mediocre reviews ITT, but my wife and I won a silent auction at a benefit for the Humane Society for a bunch of lunch outings and tossed in were a couple of $20 gift card for them. Best order? Things to avoid? We've never been to one.

I always hand the change first, make sure the drooler has it secure, then hand the bill. Because even the thought of them dropping the change tilts me.

A female fast food worker once dropped my credit card on the ground. She was too lazy to actually reach outside on the window with it and half threw it. I bitched her out a bit (only because she was on the register and wasn't anywhere near my food) but still had to squeeze between the tiny door opening before I could reach it.

If you like mushrooms give this a go at Steak & Shake. Had it recently, pretty tasty. I usually go w/chocolate pb shake.

Shakes are fantastic, be sure to get one. Burgers are good. Opinions mixed on the fries, they go cold fast.

Steak and Shakes shakes are pretty run of the mill. Go with the turtle caramel.

For burgers, cajun burger is pure debauchery because they cover the bun in some kind of oily cajun seasoning. portobello 'n swiss is pretty good. jamacian jerk is good. so is their triple steak burger. their chicken fingers are also decent. steak and shake fries are pretty terrible.

kids eat free on Saturday if you have any.

I had Shake Shack tonight and just laughed at how inferior it is taste wise in comparison to Five Guys. Those fries.... A+ level trolling.

The A+ meal is a hot dog, cheeseburger and milkshake from shake shack with five guys cajun fries. Shake Shack is perfect besides the fries. But, the fries are so bad that I might prefer five guys.

Doesn't Shake Shack have any self awareness or business sense?

Hmm..

We usually mix and match in and out burgers with Mcds fries, but if I were to next level (no drive thru) mix and match it would probably be habit burgers and five guys fries.

shack shake fries taste like frozen fries from the grocery store you cook at home.

burgers are fine, but overpriced.
