Anybody else tried the JITB breakfast pockets yet?

There was at least one breakfast pockets write up. I remember it was a very in depth one, where the gripe was it needed hash browns to make it great, but when you pay for said hash brown, it becomes a bad value play. Standard FF tragedy story really, but pretty well written.

Yeah that was mine (and thanks for the compliment.) Was wondering if anyone else tried them.

Carl's Jr. $5 "All Star Box"



Double Cheeseburger, Fries, and Onion Rings (or you can choose a chicken sandwich or hot dog) + Med. Sprite. + Chocolate Chip Cookie.

Cookie was still warm and chocolate chips slightly melted (7.5/10). Awesome. Fries were crispy and onion rings tasty (6.8/10).

Cheeseburger was great the first time (7/10), second time they forgot the sliced onions and pickles (5/10).

Good value and the one I went to was open 24-hours. Overall (7/10).

Taco Bell $5 "Cravings Box"



Cheesy Gordita Crunch, Burrito Supreme, Crunchy Taco, Chips (w/ Nacho Cheese) + Med. Baja Blast.

Cheesy Gordita had an interesting texture--the tortilla/pita-esque wrapping was fluffy and thicker than regular tortillas. Ground beef was standard Taco Bell, so, pretty average. Shredded cheese on top. (7/10)

Burrito Supreme was a mish mash of beans, beef, cheese, sour cream and do I see actual guacamole?... (6.8/10).

Crunchy Taco. Nothing special, but nothing bad either. Tacos get a minimum positive score because of their genre. (6/10).

Nachos with cheese. The cheese was still warm and gooey and well, as a reference I enjoy a good nacho at the movie theatre, so this was good. The chips were made different than standard corn chips--they were lighter and crispier. (7/10).

Diablo fire sauce--actually spicey! (7/10)

Open until 1am. Overall good value. (7/10)

I don't remember seeing much hate for the spicy nuggets. I do hate the incompetence of every BK I ever go to but the nuggets themselves were decent and might even be legit good if they were prepared correctly.

Wendy's chicken tenders did not impress.

Its ****ing venison day bros! Thats where im headed in a minute. Still suffering from lack of appetite due to weed break, so unsure if ill be able to handle a second big ticket item. I havent tried the chicken parm yet, and a couple days ago my brother sent me a pic of some sexy deep fried turkey sandwich there.

Burrito supreme WOAT. Get that ****ing lettuce out of there.

I got the venison, deep fried turkey club, a small Dr. P and small Mt. Dew (lol that's a first for me) and i had a coupon for free small onion rings.

The turkey sandwich was really good. They also have a cajun version, and something called the Gobbler thats on the market fresh bread.


The venison really missed the mark. Not sure if i got a suboptimal one, because on the promo pics the inside of the meat is pink/red, and mine was mostly gray with just a hint of pink. Also the meat was less than 2/3 of the bun.


The onion rings are elite. They also have an apple crisp now. No room for that or the butter cookie shake today.

jersey mike's for lunch today. split a giant #99 on wheat with the spouse (combo of the #43 chipotle cheese steak and the #56 big kahuna).
steak, grilled onions, peppers, jalapenos, mushrooms, chipotle mayo and extra cheese. so damn tasty for <$15.

prob just a snack for BH or Malucci, but we were stuffed.

That venison looks like a turd on a bun. It looks truly awful.

Yeah it was not good.

I would not eat that venison sammy if you gave it to me for free.

Went to my Arbys for lunch and they said they were out of the venison. Kinda glad now that I had to settle for a gyro.

Hard to believe a fast food joint of any kind would properly prepare venison.

Piggybacking on HUMBLE.'s post, those Carl's Jr. chocolate chip cookies are better than 7.5/10 for me. I had my first one in a box last week and it might be my favorite chocolate chip cookie ever. It's so molasses-y and delightful.

Yeah, I’m not certain I’ve had venison ever. I am 100% certain the first time I have it won’t be at Arby’s.

Bighurt, if you're ever in Salt Lake City, head north to Roy, UT and go to Burger Bar. Every month they have a new exotic burger. Bear, elk, kangaroo, camel, rabbit, velocirap... well, probably not that last one. Also, stupid delicious milkshakes.

Camel, for reals? Id love it.


Want to eat a big zebra steak too.

Fuddruckers by me advertises exotic burgers, not sure how serious they are though. Haven’t been to one in like 20 years, really want to try it one day (though it will probably be worse than any local place and a worse value than any FF place).

Jumping on the lol venison bandwagon. Looks like they just boiled that
