It's too creamy for my tastes.

Just give me the damn sriracha.

Just don't put a friend chicken sandwich or chicken and waffles on your menu if you can't fry your own damn chicken.

I enjoyed the Wendy's chicken strips but wish they had more than a 4 piece option. The sauce was good and I'm not a huge sauce guy.

While at Costco, may as well grab a few Rotisserie chickens and a caesar salad. Always smart to add a few healthy options.

Lol. Yup, you could get 4 servings out of those, and sell a 1/4 chicken and huge Caesar salad plate for $8.99 each.

I'm sure there are a bunch of Costco frozen items that you could repackage the same way.

Just replace Costco with Sysco and you've described how much of the food service industry works.

yup
As long as it's properly identified, no problem with them using popeye's chicken in a chicken and waffles.

Thanks. I read the article. That makes sense. I figured that happened, but didn't know it was as widespread as that.

Tried the BK spicy nuggets. $1.49 for 10 pc.

As is typical for BK, a pretty good idea undercut by terrible execution. I didn't think the nuggets were bad, the breading was pretty thick but they were definitely chicken. Spiciness was pretty standard for fast food "spicy", i.e. not real hot but they at least put a little cayenne in there for flavor. Unfortunately they were served at a temperature best described as "kinda warm". Also, the packaging consisted of a large french fry-type bag so even if they were received hot they would have been cold in a matter of a couple minutes. Cold chicken nuggets suck.

6/10, I'll probably try them again to see if they're legit if and when served hot.

Yeah 15 cents per nugget what can you really expect

If you get them hot, with the zesty cheese cause, they're probably close to optimal food to price ratio

I'm vaguely tempted to drive up to Traverse City to visit the mythical competent BK just to see if they do right by these nuggets.

It's essentially orange flavorless water added to your burrito
