I just encountered some weird pricing. I was at Fred Meyer and got a fried chicken craving. I asked for two breasts (mock me for preferring white meat if you must) and that would cost $4.58. Dude asks me if I want to throw in a wing to make it cheaper because a three piece (2 breasts, one wing) costs only $3.49. I assume this makes sense to someone, somewhere.

So far, 2 for 2 on BK rodeo burger.
Of course, forgot to include sauces for nuggets.

BK Rodeo double whopper was ****ing legit. Rodeo cheeseburgers are about all i've had from BK over the past 5 years outside of the 10/$1.50 nuggets. Hopefully that stays around for awhile.

Tried the BK crispy buffalo chichen sandwich last night. Extremely disappointed! Definitely wasn't crispy, the cheese wasn't melted enough and overpowered the sandwich even though I took off one of the slices. I'm a sucker for buffalo chicken sandwiches but this one sucked pretty bad.

I'll have to try that rodeo whopper.

Just had the BBQ bourbon brisket at Arbys, and a buffalo chicken slider and roast beef slider. Loved every bite.

Just revisited SS recently. Double cheeseburger and shake $15. Burger patties are very good everything else is average at best. For all that money you have to put on your own condiments. Avoided the fries because they are frozen crinkle cut variety. Shake was smaller than 5G and inferior to Smashburger shake which is the best in the business.

Sadly they are batting well under .100
Their $6 mega-burgers are not bad at all. Unfortunately they are expensive, and have enough calories, fat, and sodium to cover the rda for about a day and a half, just by themselves.

Get this same guy to help you next time. Maybe you can talk him into 3 breasts for $3.49.

On the road today so I hit a McDonalds for lunch, they had something that was new to me, buttermilk chicken tenders. Got a 4 piece for $3.99. They were quite good, if a bit on the bland side. A bit heavier on the chicken than Culvers' tenders. Would get them again, probably with some kind of zestier sauce. Wish they'd make 'em spicy.

I wish they would bring back the Mighty Wings. Those were great.

Shake Shack time; really wanted to try the Hot Chicken but felt obligated to get a burger since that’s why we’re here. Edit: Smokeshack was very tasty, fries just ok. Forced myself to get a shake even though it’s almost a guarantee of diarrhea. Prices are a little high - basically what everyone says.

I used a bogo double deluxe coupon yesterday at Culver's. I go no mayo. They charged me 20 cents extra per burger to get cheddar instead of American. I wonder if it was worth it, the meat is the star. Good flavor and good service ofc, total w tax was $5.40 or so.

Man, that naked egg taco is a massive fail. This might be their biggest flop ever.

Maybe, maybe not, but I love that they're out there trying things.

The monkeys at my local TB can't even assemble a taco with a hard shell. They have no chance using an egg. Not even going to try it.

My new thing is soft del taco turkey tacos. 150 calories each. Toss four down my throat and call it a meal. Satisfying.
