Two spicy chickens for me today while visiting the east coast.
1. Had a road trip through TN and VA today, and kicked it off with a cajun filet chicken biscuit from Bojangles (plus a chocolate cherry coke from the Sonic 1 block down). The biscuit was decent, but nowhere near as good as chick fil a's. The chicken was really good though, and a huge piece - I'd say just about as big as a standard lunch/dinner chicken sandwich. Overall very pleased, wish I had this option back in Seattle. B+
2. Wendy's for dinner and got a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. It was cooked fresh and was piping hot an juicy... and WAS just not as good as I remember it. I don't know if they changed or I did, but I think I'm pretty strictly a burger guy at Wendy's going forward. C+
Also bonus regional fast food review: if you find yourself in east TN, do yourself a favor and check out the local fast food chain
Pals. Tasty burgers, giant sweet tea or peach tea for 99c, seasoned fries. The buildings are all shaped like giant burgers/hot dogs/fries too which is fun for the kids. I loved going there when I would visit grandma's as a kid, and went by again on this trip and was pleasantly surprised how it held up.
