Def hit up corporate. Even just a description of how she looks is good enough to pass along. That with the time of the order and they should def know who was working and tried to steal from you.

Take BK for all their ****ing worth.

Godspeed durango.

Lol. I would never let a single fast food worker determine if I went to a chain or not.

Popped by my local CFA for a free chicken egg hash brown breakfast bowl today. It contained small deep fried hash browns, scrambled eggs, melted cheese, sliced chicken strips, and a packet of salsa.

Execution was great and the meal was of expected high quality but I'm not sure I understand why there is chicken in there, it didn't add anything to the experience for me.

Pretty sure there wouldn't be any meat in there without chicken

Tried the Chipotle queso despite the negative reviews because figured even mediocre queso is delicious. Big mistake. Can't say it tasted awful because it had almost no flavor whatsoever. You are just dipping your chips in tasteless blobs of goo.

The BK nearest me has horrible service as well which is why I've stopped going for the most part. Of course it's anecdotal, but I'm wondering if there's an endemic problem there with management.

Not quite the outright contempt for humanity you generally encounter at a typical Popeyes window though.

I was in a ruralish town and the only thing close to my job site was BK so I begrudgingly went and got some sort of massive rodeo whopper or something. Super hot, clearly fresh, and delivered quickly with a smile. It was incredible. If BK could replicate my experience at a 70% clip it would be a super solid option. Sadly they are batting well under .100

I'm in a horrible FoF rut. For the last 3 or so weeks I've been eating them for Friday lunch. I can't stop!!!

And they've been fresh, hot and delicious.

Doesn't sound like a rut at this point.

I call that a pilgrimage, not a rut

Under .100 sounds about right for BK.

I randomly decided to get a sausage burrito with my coffee at McDonalds this morning and I couldn't believe it, it was perfect. Every inch of the tortilla perfect, no cold or crunchy spots. Filling uniform and piping hot. Wrapped nice and tight.

It's stuff like that keeps bringing me back, even though I know it'll be good maybe 50% of the time.

Are those available all day?

If ever the occasion again occurs that I'm forced to be outside my home between 7-10:30am, I'm going to take the opportunity to eat the naked egg taco.

Keep driving north up 31 and hit up Andy's in Charlevoix. Drool inducing deli sandwiches

Without the steamed bun FoF has been dead to me. Which is about the last 20 years or so.

Two spicy chickens for me today while visiting the east coast.

1. Had a road trip through TN and VA today, and kicked it off with a cajun filet chicken biscuit from Bojangles (plus a chocolate cherry coke from the Sonic 1 block down). The biscuit was decent, but nowhere near as good as chick fil a's. The chicken was really good though, and a huge piece - I'd say just about as big as a standard lunch/dinner chicken sandwich. Overall very pleased, wish I had this option back in Seattle. B+

2. Wendy's for dinner and got a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. It was cooked fresh and was piping hot an juicy... and WAS just not as good as I remember it. I don't know if they changed or I did, but I think I'm pretty strictly a burger guy at Wendy's going forward. C+

Also bonus regional fast food review: if you find yourself in east TN, do yourself a favor and check out the local fast food chain Pals. Tasty burgers, giant sweet tea or peach tea for 99c, seasoned fries. The buildings are all shaped like giant burgers/hot dogs/fries too which is fun for the kids. I loved going there when I would visit grandma's as a kid, and went by again on this trip and was pleasantly surprised how it held up.
