What part of the country? They offer this in uber expensive Seattle, so I'm surprised that there are any places not running it.

Northwest Baltimore. There's at least 3 Wendy's near me that don't offer it.

Any Colorado residents here? I enjoyed Good Times recently and they had a double burger ('West Coast style' aka just like a double double from In-N-Out), fries, and drink for $5. Really killer deal IMO.

The burger itself was solid (still worse than In-N-Out, though) and the wild fries were flavorful- kind of reminded me of a slightly worse version of checkers fries.

All in all, really good deal for $5.

Anyone else deal with this? Tips?

Yeah this is probably the most frustrating thing about fast food at times. A+ ideas with D- level ingredients, care and execution.

+1. I had this same exact experience. Such a good idea, so much potential, but so disappointing. It almost made me mad.

The next day I got a Baconator to make up for it. Was fantastic as always.

Or in the case of BK, A+ smells. Seriously, when they have the broiler fired up you think the burgers are going to be fantastic just based on the scent. And then you get one and it's like ... meh.

My local TB is so incompetent as to make it inedible. I've replaced it for the most part with The Green Burrito at Carl's. It's higher quality but more expensive.
