Lol, are you really pulling out something you learned in introductory sociology here? Blacks have bought into the "stereotype" over time, so it it no longer a stereotype and it is not a bad thing. Black people love that bird. As do other races, just not as much as black people. This is by no means a knock on the race, as I'd much rather eat fried bird than tapas or caviar.

So no it certainly isn't overstated and it doesn't just go away because it's part of black/southern cuisine now.

This is ludicrous but I'm not going to continue the derailment here.

Anybody work the burger king coupons? They constantly send out coupon sheets with 2x fries 2x whopper jr for 3.99, double cheese fries and drink for 3 etc.

The coupon codes never change so go ham

Speaking of chicken, I went to CFA today for another round of spicy southwest salad with the avocado lime ranch dressing. Great stuff.

The drive-thru was pretty slammed and the wait was excessive by CFA standards. Ended up getting 2 freebie cards and the receipt survey. Hadn't seen the survey over the last several visits, definitely a good afternoon.

No, the point is if you were black you might feel differently about the issue. Maybe you wouldn't. But it's not my place to judge how other people feel about things related to them racially.

Nothing offends me. Me trying to think of the minority also doesn't make me a progressive per se. Just trying to be a good person.

At CFA for food at 10:50am after early golf today. Breakfast items were still available and freshly made. Bagel egg spicy with pepper jack is on point as always.

Then at 11:00 the cashier walked the dining room with a tray of leftover chicken biscuits and minis boxes and let each guest select one, gratis. Love this place.
