Well, I normally use a toaster oven, but the packaging on the MC chicken pot pie said to not use a toaster oven, so I didn't. I also don't have an oven in my apartment.

Bored of McNuggets recently tried McD crispy buttermilk chicken sandwich. Thought this was McD's best new offering in a long time and would actually go back for it.

I just got the Halloween Whopper combo. $8 for small size. The burger was decent, I didn't detect any A1 flavor in the black bun. Essentially just an A1 whopper which they have going now with a bun gimmick.

Their fries are different. Not exactly steak fries, but not the thin ones like they used to have. Thought they were pretty good.

Wawa is giving away free coffee today.

Kripsy Kreme has free coffee and a glazed donut!

I miss KK in the Northeast. DD donuts suck.

I don't think there is a better glazed donut than an original glazed Krispy Kreme right out of the fryer. They melt in your both.

The rest of their donuts I'm not as big of a fan of. Would rather by a dozen from any of the number of small family owned shops. Especially for maple bars, which is obv the greatest donuts ever.

What do the weird people call those again? Long Johns or something? LOL

On the expert recommendation of FF thread MVP Tumaterminator, I had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich today at Wendy's for the first time!

I got the medium combo, and it was pretty good. Not overly spicy, but it had a decent kick to it.

I do like the sea salt on Wendy's fries fwiw.

Krispy kreme is certainly delicious but I don't really like their donuts. Another poster mentioned that they melt in your mouth, which is true, but for me that makes them feel so much less satisfying.

I compare it to cotton candy. Sure it's tasty but I'm never really craving it or glad that I ate it

i don't typically go to McD's outside of breakfast hours so i'm not up to speed on their history of new offerings. i did try (and enjoyed) the jalapeno double a few times when it was around. because of the discussion ITT i gave the buttermilk chicken a shot yesterday after a long day of traveling and limited food options.
I thought it was pretty good...not crazy good but i wouldn't turn it down when hungry in the future. it just kind of left me wanting a little bit of spice, maybe some cayenne or black pepper to elevate the flavors a bit. not sure about the value at $4.50 w/out sales tax.

Tried the buttermilk chicken yesterday and agree with the recent sentiments in the thread. Pretty good but needed a little spice and the chicken was a bit dry. I really liked the bun, it's definitely more dense than a typical fast food bun and I thought it worked well with the sammich

Had FF for breakfast and lunch today also I'm on antibiotics and 6 beers. Tomorrow could be rough.
