Totally agree with this.

Once in a while KFC needs to happen. About 6/1 ratio of trips to popeyes vs kfc.

Bareburger in NYC was pretty good, tried it for the first time a month ago. Pretty cool they use natural and organic ingredients.

Only problem is you have to deal with the hipster douche bags playing their harmonicas, drinking PBR and tooling up the place in general. But I suppose you have to deal that with 50% of places in NYC.

But can you get a satisfying meal for 4 bucks?

Yeah, I wouldn't want to shove anything up my ass that costs as much as what a natural and organic burger must cost in NYC. Would just be a waste

Halloween Whopper, folks. Should be arriving soon. The buns are pitch black. Purportedly has A1 sauce baked into the buns. Doesn't look appetizing, but I'm gonna give it a shot.

Black buns have been around for a while in Japan, and the ones there even have black cheese.

even w/out lava it might be the best FF breakfast going. you have inspired me, sir.

regarding KFC, they had buffalo snackers a year or so ago for $0.99. they were pretty tasty and a decent value. for some reason i also enjoy their mashed potatoes, even though they seem to have some sort of weird smokey aftertaste. i can't speak to anything else they sell because i haven't tried it in decades.

Is it safe to cook and eat Marie Callender's chicken pot pies if my microwave is only 900 watts instead of the required 1100 watts? I just cooked it proportionately longer, but I don't know if that will protect me from salmonella.

Food safety should be a matter of raising the internal temperature sufficiently high for a sufficient amount of time. Microwaves are weird, with hot spots and...not-hot spots, so you do need to follow the instructions on letting food stand after heating. Use a food thermometer to check.

What if I don't have a food thermometer?

Cook it long enough so that you are sure it is overcooked.
