I need to do the double meat griller at a different location. Went back to the same place as a few days ago and got just a regular one, still just scalding hot soup in a tortilla, which is not the way Ive received it elsewhere.

I will probably go to Taco Bell every Thursday-Sunday for the foreseeable future. I'm kinda excited about it.

I got the spicy deluxe chicken sandwich combo, with waffle fries and lemonade. Also 8pc classic nuggets, with Polynesian and chick Fil a sauce.

The fries and nuggets were kinda soft, not sure if they're supposed to be. The chicken of the nuggets was good. Sauces seemed whatever. The sandwich had a very one note flavor. It certainly wasn't bad, but I didn't find it any kind of yummy or delicious.

The lemonade is good, the service was good. For $12.42, I don't think that's what I'm trying to do for a fast food lunch. I'll try it again for breakfast some time. I'm just a hamburger man through and through.

Local CFA was giving out free frosted lemonades one day last month. I was skeptical, but it was an excellent balance of creamy, sweet, and tart. Really refreshing on one of those hot summer nights.

Yeah lemonade is really good, but frosted lemonade is off the charts good.

Chick Fila regular BBQ sauce with the nuggets is pretty elite...but I sometimes do the double dip with Polynesian and BBQ that is solid too

What's the best $1 spent in FF these days? My vote probably leans towards two tacos from JITB. They aren't pretty or fancy but with a good amount of hot sauce they hit the spot when you wanna go cheap.

I think the large majority puts the CFA sandwich in elite status, rightly so imo. Bighurt may have hit on something though - "just a hamburger guy." For some folks no fried chicken sandwich is going to blow them away. Now if you are saying CFA is OK but Wendy's chicken sandwich is fantastic, something is wrong.

FWIW I also think the regular chicken sandwich >> spicy chicken sandwich, and I usually like spicier food. For breakfast, spicy chicken biscuit >> regular chicken biscuit though.

My McDonalds has it now. It's a subset of about 1/2 of the normal breakfast menu.

Wendy's used to have an elite value menu with a lot of things around $1 or so, but I've noticed in the last 5 or 6 years or so they keep slowly creeping up the prices (no surprise). I'd guess I go there once every 2-3 months and every time it seems like everything costs $0.20 more or so.
