I read that the correct pasta pass strategy was to wait until 4:55 after the hour then starts spamming the 'Buy your pass now button'. Opening hundreds of windows.

You are going after all the passes that get put back in the pool when people don't complete the purchase. The competition is way way less.

Portland has food carts that could probably multiply their profits x2 if they charged prices proportional to the demand (a foot long bahn mi sandwich can currently be bought for $4), but there's no way in hell anyone will suggest that to them.

as a point of comparison, consider this somewhat equivalent to the discussion about subway and the local grinder/hoagie/hero/sub shop that everyone says they have right around the corner, only with exponentially more pleasing flavor and for a couple of dollars less.
Lee's Sandwiches?

For a standard to go order for one person at a place like olive garden I will throw a dollar in the tip jar if I have one on me or not tip at all. I don't think it is hugely scummy.

I guess if you are going in twice a day everyday you probably should throw them a buck here and there but there is no way im tipping 3 dollars per transaction. That is crazy.

No reason at all to go to Lee's in the Bay IMO. Many better options. I guess if you worked really close to one or something maybe.

there's literally a Lee's in my office complex. I still walk like 10+x farther to the shopping center for food. I haven't eaten at that Lee's in 6 months

Just got the double meat no strip grillers for the first time. Both (H and GP) were so saucy, that it was basically a tortilla filled with scalding hot soup. First, I don't feel like I got much extra meat, it all, and nearly half the contents poured out while eating. First bite only my black shirt and slacks.

Will just be doing regular style next time. Perhaps no strips. Regret not getting my breakfast items instead.

I fell like the content in the grillers is just from a spicey, meat and cheese flavored product pump.
I might grab one later

Pho without tripe is almost pointless. If it is an option and you're not getting it, you're doing it wrong. I'm on the fence on whether chicken pho is really pho, but I am 100% sure that vegetarian pho is as much pho as tofurkey is turkey.

I get pho with every meat they have. I don't like the fatty flank though.

Lee's is by no means the best, but I go to a 24 hour one and it takes care of business adequately.

Beef ball is the correct pho play.

Chicken pho sounds like something some hipster invented or something. Have never seen anyone order chicken pho when out or even remember seeing it on any menus.

Joint near me serves pho with meat on side and you can decide to dunk or not.

Roast pork is my go to meat and I've ceased dunking - so much better.

Decided to try one of those McDonalds Crispy Buttermilk Chicken sandwiches today and thought it was pretty darn good. Pretty big hunk of meat and very crispy, juicy and tasty, will definitely repeat.

It's National Cheeseburger Day Today. If you have a Farmer Boys by you here's a pretty good deal. I just had one. It hit the spot.
