Pretty much this. They pumped a lot of money into Iowa through their charity pushing for a gay marriage ban.

There are quite a few companies I won't buy from for similar reasons. Some of it is forced on me by my job (have to own a union made car to get my car allowance) but mostly I just don't feel right doing business with certain companies because of where the money ends up.

Has nothing to do with them being open or closed on Sunday. Didn't mean to hijack, sorry.

Well, it has a little to do with being closed on Sundays. They want to give all their employees a chance to go to church, with no conflict to work. I don't think anyone would really boycott them for this reason alone. Add in the heavy influencing as if they were a lobbyist, and then you have grounds.

The McBites commercial mentions that they're a limited time only item. Seems odd. Not that I really care in this case since people say they're kind of meh at best, but it got me wondering - for McDs, what does limited time usually translate to? Two months? More? Less?

(in before someone finds a way to say three fiddy)

I boycott CFA for the beliefs they have but my bf goes there all the time to spite me. I think it's time to start hitting him.

Gotta show some love for Chicken Express. All meals come with a roll and gravy standard, and you pick 2 sides of your choice from a decent size list( meaning you don't have to get a drink, but if you want one you can get it as one of your sides).

My standard order is the 4 piece tender meal, with fries and cheese sticks( or a drink if I don't already have one, or am not headed home/someone's place).

Why the love? The roll is about the size of your fist, the gravy is delicious and they give you enough of it to dip pretty much every bite of chicken/fries in. While the fries are nothing special, they are decent. The chicken tenders however, are always juicy and the batter on them is never greasy. Best of all, and I don't know if this is standard or only applies to the one close to me, they often toss in extra chicken strips and/or fries and/or a roll( especially if it's after the main dinner rush).

I pass a Boston Market from time to time, and I don't remember the last time I've been in there. Am I missing out?

PK, imo, I don't think so, the quality tends to vary from place to place and I usually prefer a few other pollo/chicken places in my area. They do have a assortment of sides, but they are just average imo.

Raising Canes is where it's at for tenders IMO. You don't get gravy but they have their own sauce which is pretty amazing. They have good sweet tea also.

Whenever I go to Choctaw Casino in Durant, OK I eat at Chicken Express. It's ****ing amazing! I get the 4 tender dinner too. But for some reason they give you 5. (thought I just got lucky the first two times, but i've been there 20 times and gotten 5 every time) 2 sides with roll and gravy. With tax it's $6.75. Looks like there's a few in Dallas area, but not real close to me. I'll have to try one down here sometime.

Raising Canes sucks, they have no options for sides and the tenders are totally average.

Maybe i am in the minority, but i really enjoy boston market. I get the turkey platter which i think is the best ff turkey you can get...it's actually from a turkey, lol. The sides are really where it is at though. The mac and cheese is absolutly the nuts. The cornbread is serviceable, nothing special. The hot cinnamon apple slices are great, but they must be fresh...don't order them if they look like they've been sitting. Two things i cannot stand at boston market is the gravy (extremely runny/watered down or w/e) and customer service (takes forever)

Chicken Express is amazing and I like it better than Cane's tbh, but they're all in the suburbs so I never go anymore.

The McDonald's Aussie burger has a beet root slab on it. That is stranger than Cricket or Netball or unrefrigerated eggs.

They are way too expensive. It's not worth it.

the best thing for me lately are the Beefy Crunchy Burritos from Taco Bell for $1. You only need two to fill up on a drunken night and they are cheesy and have sour cream in them. As long as you have plenty of sauce for them they are good to go.

All the chicken talk reminded me that today I saw a commercial for Chicken Kingdom, a chain that looks like an El Pollo Loco type place. 2 local stores, but never heard of them before.

Had one of those at Hungry Jacks (Burger King). I think it had an egg too.
