Tried the dark chocolate milkshake - for the longest time it was labeled the Hersheys Special Dark shake iirc - for the first time last week. Very good, would definitely get again. I usually just get chocolate or strawberry.

Also: I have never had Steak N Shake for breakfast but after looking at the menu I want a California Skillet right the **** now.

Is that in DC?

I'm up right outside Baltimore now.

Several locations in DC, also one in Clarendon and one in White Marsh. Z Burger shakes confirmed super-thick and good.

Arby's gets attacked nationally it seems like, IMO undeserved. Had a chicken/bacon/swiss and curly fries with Arby's sauce a few months ago and it was all glorious.

Arbys is ****ing delicious.

I had really neglected them over the last decade due to my brain not handling the difference from 5 for 5s to their current prices. But the food is great.

I've usually been happy with Arby's but I never go there because they're about the worst in terms of value for what you get. Unless you have one of their coupons, but **** carrying around fast food coupons.

Yeah not like they conveniently fit into your wallet/man-purse/satchel.

heh, that's actually what prompted the question. Grabbed the 2 for $5 and couldn't get past how awful the bacon was; it's paper thin and lacks flavor. If they could add real bacon it would be one of my go to ff items.

If Arby's actually did that, it would be pretty awesome.

So with the triple chicken double cheeseburger, I assume you order that without lettuce, and without pickle/onions... What about the ketchup and mustard?

Question to everyone: if you're allowed one FF place the rest of your life, and you also get a $15 per diem at this place, what do you choose? I take Arbys. Which is funny because I love hamburgers so much. I just think that would be best value for my $15, I can go to a restaurant for a hamburger.

these are the new "Daredevil" grillers. yes they are just beef grillers with the red corn chips, cheese w/hot spice from what I can see. I didn't see the $1 price though today, only that they replaced the Chicken Bacon Chalupa as the $5.99 box deal. I loved the chalupa deal and this new Daredevil deal looks like garbage tbh.

If I'm only allowed to ever go into one, TB is my choice. Mexican is my favorite cuisine, and like we've said before, TB has the variety. A couple of decent breakfast options helps as well.
There are beef options, chicken option, non meet options if that's the way you feel. Just so many ways to break it up and not get bored.

It's essentially a Big Mac but where you would find a bun instead you're faced with a McChicken patty. It's meat madness.

I'm on my way to McDonalds right now to get it. Think I'm going to ask for my double plain, and no lettuce on the mcchickens.

Would your answer change if that was the only place you were allowed to eat? As in every meal of every day. Mine might actually be Subway. But that's without putting too much thought into it.

I took a HS McChicken out of bun, mayo side facing up, pulled a cheese covered double cheeseburger patty off his cheese covered brother and slapped him on top of upward facing mayo side of McChicken. I then put another McChicken patty on top of burger patty, sealing his fate. Next I took lonely cheeseburger brother patty on top of McChicken patty who entombed patty's brother. Then took final HS McChicken and put it mayo side down on top of patty, thus keeping my hands mayo free. It doesn't matter much as McChickens are still going to sully your fingers with grease. I believe some ketchup/pickles/onions made it in there as I made no effort to scrape them off, but they did not affect taste in a negative way for me.
