These Johnsonville hot dogs with cheddar and jalapeno I get are excellent.

5G bacon cheesedog is pretty damn delicious, nitrates be damned.

A good cheese & jalapeno brat/sausage/dog can indeed be very good. But yeah, I remember getting really excited for those packaged cheese filled dogs as a kid, and always being way let down.

WAT? What is the second one like?

The best hot dogs I had in my life were in a McCrory's diner in the 60's. The bun was not a normal bun, it had non-crusted sides, and they had a special fixture where they coated the sides and the inside with butter and toasted it like a grilled cheese.

Metaname,

The fact that you said you ordered a hamburger rather than a cheeseburger betrays your inferior palate immediately and allows us to safely disregard the rest of your post.

Costco has Polish and All beef options.

Whenever I go, I'm a two dog and a chicken bake guy. Costco lunch is so wonderful. Wish it weren't so inconvenient.

That's a lot of food. In my prime, two Costco hotdogs filled me up.

With that said, I'm currently stuffed with fair food.

I ate these cold rarely as a child. Probably cooked over 100 packs lifetime.

Two hot dogs and a chicken bake is some psycho Costco ****. One beefy hot dog is enough in that department, no way I could eat two, I'd vomit.

Portillo's has to be the GOAT fast food restaurant. Everything on their menu is fantastic and there doesn't seem to be any difference in quality of food at separate locations.

Best items include:

Chicago style hotdog
chili cheese dog
cheese fries
char-boiled chicken croissant
big beef
burger
cheese fries
onion rings
chocolate cake shake
ribs
chopped salad

I guess Johnsonville does call the kind I get sausages, I kinda default call them hot dogs. They're definitely way better than Oscar Mayer or Ball Park or something.

It takes thirty minutes to order and be served food at this joint. Sure, we go off script in this thread sometimes, but Portillo's is in no way fast. It is, however, outstanding.

Well, as I've stated before, I'm cursed with a tremendous appetite, and its a miracle I'm not 400 pounds.

I only take the one cup, for the record.

If I ever get over my shame, I'll give you guys what I order at places. I'll probably die soon because of my extreme piggery...but I'm just not a person who can order a combo meal and leave it alone. It's shameful.

Maybe copping to it will be cathartic in some way...so recently I wanted Wendy's and In and Out, so I went to Wendy's got an Asiago Ranch Spicy Chicken, regular Spicy chicken, and a dill chicken. Obviously mowed dill in the car on the way to in and out where I got a double double animal style combo w a strawberry shake and an extra fry. Got home, hammered all of it...though there may have been some fries that didn't make it...I can't remember with certainty.

But yes, I deserve death.

And...not so cathartic...just heavier shame.

30 mins is a stretch at Portillos IME. 15 maybe sure but it's not like 5G or Fatburger are super fast.

Please do share the large meal orders, I enjoy hearing about them. I'm obviously no stranger to FF as I post in here and go to them fairly frequently, I just don't think I can put away some of those amounts.

Bighurt, when you eat that at Costco do you order it all at once and eat it at one of their tables? I was curious if you set it all in front of you or start in on a dog and place the other two items at other seats so passers-by might think you are waiting on two other people.

I often hog out during sporting events. It's a bit easier because the game and the food complement each other. My go-to during this year's NCAA's (my team got to the Elite Eight) was two or three Costco dogs and a slice of pizza. I carried it home in my aforementioned Igloo cooler. The stuff would stay warm through the first half and halftime, sometimes well into the second half.

Malucci,

We know already. You got a BK fish at 5am. Lol. But seriously, that's serious ownage. I'm not capable of that.

Sirosis,

I do order it all at once. And since I don't have a Costco card, I actually am always there with someone else.
