Mod pizza good and tasty. A little expensive, but not bad. Is too much for one meal, but not enough for two. Consider a salad or other side.

Yesterday's lunch was Wendy's. Pep'mint Frosty from the red head delivered. Pub burger (single) was OK+. Chez fries probably would have been better before the drive home, but perfectly edible. They subbed spicy nugs for the wife's reg nugs, and she was pissed.

No pics because I was busy eating.

Had In-n-Out las'night after a fun and profitable session of poker at the local during the FB game. Fries were better than I remembered, seemed crispier than usual, no mod to the order. Single chez was delicious. Great dinnertime snack for under $10.

Blackened chicken was pretty good. Size of the chicken is a little smaller but still nice size and they didn't cook it too long and dry it out which is always my fear with grilled chicken. I prefer the fried sando but if you want a slightly healthier option it's a nice alternative. I wish they bottled the spicy sauce that stuff is so good.

Chicken jerky sounds kinda good to me, smoky chicken jerky mmmm. I guess the dry would be the sticking point.

I actually went to Popeye's last night and considered trying the blackened sandwich but habit won out and I just got an ala carte spicy breast. I did make the old Mexican counter guy give me the senior discount so even with tax it was only $2.50, you get the biscuit too so not bad value.

Pretty sick deal. Burger cooked medium, nice char.

Note this special is not advertised in the restaurant. I confirmed all RRs offer this special with floor staff.

Only issue is that the staff didn't provide bottomless fries like the ad says. Other people got two rounds of fries while I waited, which was tilting, and the waitress asked the other tables if they wanted fries. Fries fries fries

Part of the reason I ordered a beer was to pad the bill a bit. Should've saved the $8 and tipped based on the $10 total. Was planning to tip $5 but no fries means no $5. I also didn't get napkins until I was half done with the burger

I love Red Robin! Use gift cards if you can. Also they moved the Scorpion burger off the specialty menu to the regular group. I love that burger.

Scorpion Pepper Sauce, pepper-jack cheese, fried jalapeño coins, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, red onions, and roasted jalapeños. It's sandwiched between a sesame bun smeared with roasted garlic aioli.

Last time I was in a RR, after being seated, we were ignored by every employee in the building until we finally got up and left. That was probably pre-'Vid, so I imagine it hasn't gotten any better.

Just watched the Day'm Drops review of the Mozz Burger from Wendy's yesterday - he only gave it a 3/5 but a) he ordered a double, where I actually think the single might be the play given the fried mozz adds so much height, and b) his burger patties looked particularly dry/I think he got some negative variance. I'm interested in trying one myself.

Thanks for your feedback. What if I was to tell you that I specifically asked the server when I ordered that I wanted to start with fries, cuz duh, everybody wants to start with bottomless fries

My theory is bc I ate the discounted special I wasn't given the same service as the two tables next to me. A low $10 check, who wants that?

The server didn't even bring out the food or fries! Didn't do diddle except for fetching my beverages. No smile, no hello.

The burger was YUMM tho

Just found a Doritos Loco taco subbed for the crunchy taco in my nacho fries cravings box at the Bell. Still a great value at $5.69 w/lg drink.

This is standard at Red Robin (and Outback too). Other people bring the food out. And the workers will help each other out refilling drinks and sides.

My experience with Red Robin is that the service is usually exceptional. I routinely have way too many fries, salads and drinks left at the table when finished. But yes, service is sometimes uneven.
