Went to my first movie theater since the plague today, and decided to throw value to the wind and treat myself to a 5G lunch next door before the show. Probably my first 5G in 2 years, and it was so freaking delicious. Cheeseburger with mayo/a1/grilled mushroom/grilled onion/grilled jala/LTP - it was divine. Every bite was a savory overload. Small cajun fries were piping hot, and vanilla barqs from the freestyle machine was sweet and crisp. I ****ing loved this meal.
And yet... $18.48 after tax, before adding a tip. I just... can't bring myself to pay these prices any more than once a year. Maybe once the house is paid off and the kid is through college (2037 is gonna be a banger!).
Edit: weird I get image not found on desktop but see the pic in tapatalk. Not sure if it's actually uploaded or not, if not sorry, I wanted to share a pic of my tasty burger.
