I'm getting a Qdoba extra portion Brisket bowl (and adding salsa + chips) for dinner today!

I haven't had Qdoba in 3.50 months yo.

A ton of brisket. Nice helping of (free) guacamole. Fajita veggies were super fresh. It was heavenly.

Easily 9.0/10.0

And I am now stuffed.

Going months without Qdoba seems like a leak

That brisket sounds awesome! Oh I wish, I wish for a Qdoba near me. How can Southern California go so long without a QDoba? Chipotle seems to be on every corner.

My town is currently having a large debate over tearing down a Marie Callender's and replacing it with an In N Out. Meanwhile there already are two In N Out restaurants two miles away from the location.

I apologize for my lack of Qdoba eating.

You deserve better from me. I can be better. I will be better.

I have 3ish random questions requiring resolution:

1. How many days is a McDonald's double cheeseburger good in the fridge? Assume optimal reheating.
2. Same question for bk whopper (no tomato), double cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburger
3. Would fridge sauerkraut enhance or diminish the reheat experience?

1. Are you putting it in a ziploc?
2. Same question.
3. Diminish. (I don't like sauerkraut so I'm a bad witness.)

In a ziploc you're looking at three days. No ziploc is one day. Don't think there's any variation between the burgers. The bigger the patty the more you'll taste any staleness tho.

Marie Callender exists outside of the grocery freezer aisle? Legit news to me. Ate that **** a ton during high school, thought it was just a frozen meal brand.

They were a CA based restaurant chain long before being freezer items. Famous for their pies.

Also I'm not concerned about stale taste but death and death related ailments

Also don't ask why I don't just order new ones. Something something science.

I pride myself in my reheating ability.

Ordering double cheeseburgers plain, helps in the reheating process,
and the refrigerator holding time.

If you close the fast food bad tightly, two days in the fridge.

Ziploc bad, 3, possibly 4 days.

Ziploc bag, plain in the freezer, indefinite shelf life

2 weeks

BTW I assume this is a refrigerator that is a cold 38F (3C).

The bread will be stale and vegetables liquidy. Bleh.

lol at going to the trouble of ziplocing mcd burgers. I admire the sentiment. Has anyone vacuum sealed ff items?

The downfall I would guess would be in reheated lettuce (ew) and condiments. If you prepare and order burgers without these things, maybe a reheat would be ok. But then you sacrifice the quality of the burger.

lol, I admit I've eaten unrefrigerated overnight pizza regularly in college. I also left a couple gallons of milk in the trunk of my car for about 10 hours. They were also fine.

The popular California fish taco chain Rubio's has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

Founded in Carlsbad in 1983, Rubio's said they plan on restructuring the company in a way that prioritizes their restaurant locations in California, Arizona and Nevada. Since the coronavirus pandemic began, Rubio's permanently closed two dozen locations, mostly in Colorado and Florida.
