let's say they only had enough food for one plateful (could be accurate). I would have attacked, in order of desire:

wendy's
chicken nuggets
FOF
QPR
a small handful of fries and a piece of pizza

lol salads and BK, those had to go last

I should probably add that I'd steal silverware.

I would go:

FoF as my appetizer

I then I grab a couple of Wendy's singles and double/triple them up. Discard the extra bread.

Side of Fries

And maybe a Big Mac for dessert

BTW, my wife got an Air Fryer for Christmas. That thing does an unbelievable job on leftover french fries.

I had some leftover Red Robin fries from the weekend. That machine made them taste like they were just served from Red Robin. I was impressed.

Same. That thing is fantastic. Since it's basically a mini convection oven, it's far superior for many things than either the microwave or regular oven.

Hash browns, pizza, fried chicken, regular chicken, frozen items, tempura, bread, etc.

Great ideas. I'm going to try it with one of those frozen Walmart hash browns next time. I usually microwave them.

We get the Trader Joe's frozen hash browns, and they're much better in the Air Fryer than either the microwave or toaster oven.

Also recommend it for frozen chicken nuggets for the little ones (or reheating McD's for those itt), and frozen shrimp tempura.

I think the fast food dinner was kind of a cool idea for a bunch of 18-22yo dudes. I’m going straight to the Big Mac pile and scraping the Mac sauce onto a Wendy’s burger.

Yeah I think the idea was fine, execution just wasn't great.

Having dinnner at one of the most distinguished places in the world, with one of the most powerful people in the world, should at least garner something not served in cardboard boxes. Even kids who grow up poor would appreciate the effort put into a fancy meal if they didn't particularly like the meal.

I'm surprised at some of the posts in here. This is a fast food sanctum. We are FF experts and connoisseurs. We talk about eating your FF right away or in the car or a 10 min drive home being too long or even having FF dedicated coolers/stay warmers in the car!

Who wants to go to somebody's house expecting a great meal, only to be served lukewarm to cold fast food that had been sitting for hours?

People here would be disgusted by that at a neighbor's house, let alone somewhere with high expectations. This thread, of all places, should expect better than that.

And if they're gonna do that, then they should at least have the courtesy to have a bunch of Air Fryers available to heat up your food for 2 min! 😁

At my Regional High School Science Fair, for lunch during the event they served hundreds of Big Macs. At the time I probably ate less than 3 Big Macs during my life. I LOVED that lunch.

I think I would go for that lunch buffet over baked chicken, watered down green beans and scalloped potatoes with a yeast roll on the side.

A warm filet o fish is better than a hot one (which can often scald you) as you can crush the warm ones quickly. I'd test the temperature of the FoFs and unless they are ice cold, focus my attention on putting down 5-6 of them with a big mac and a few nugs (sweet and sour) in between to break it up. Slice of pizza for dessert.

I'm imagining a 75F sandwich scalding a Torontoan in the winter.

I have no problem crushing cold Mcdonalds y'all. Line me up with 4 big macs and toss some buns.

Maybe put together a nice frankenstein burger. The only thing I absolutely wouldn't want is a cold FOF.

I would mention Smashburger has really high quality greens, been going side salad as my go to side and time and time again the greens are fantastic.

I still would never pay 8 bucks for their big burgers or chicken but they are high quality and are super consistent (I think this may be highly location dependent though).
