There's a $2 delivery fee. And depending on the store (three in Maryland and one in Virginia), minimum orders vary from $8 to $10.

The stores try to deliver within 30 minutes of the time a phone or online order is received. Delivery customers must live within a 10-minute drive of the store. All soft-drink orders are in bottles. And breakfast items are not delivered. Delivery times are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

$2 delivery charge and all deliveries must be within a 10 minute drive. Also, minimum orders of $8-10 depending on the store.

Meh, just wish they would bring back table service. Was a lifesaver in 1991.

McDonald's tried delivery in NYC like 15 years ago. It had like a $15 minimum and was crazy slow IIRC.

LOL @ 30min delivery time and you have to live 10mins away.

Why is that funny? Pretty much the exact same requirements as any pizza place.

Had a sub combo meal at Wegman's today. Their meat combo (turkey, ham, roast beef) with provolone, onions, lettuce, and spicy mustard on wheat with a cookie and fountain drink, which was one of those ultimate Coke machines (I've never seen it before today - pretty cool).

Sandwich was decent. Taste wise probably on par with Subway, but slightly larger. Decent variety for toppings although not as many as Subway, and everything was fresh. They weighted the meat so no chance of getting any extra. Bread was also very fresh/soft but was probably a little thick and dominated the sandwich a little.

Only problem was the spicy mustard, which was far more spicy than I'm used to - by the end of the sandwich that was pretty much all I could taste. Next time I'll ask them to only put in on half the sandwich.

I'd give it a 7/10. Would definitely eat there again. Convenience factor is pretty high since I shop there every week anyway. Oh, the cookie was fresh and a pretty standard but tasty chocolate chip cookie. Entire meal with tax $7.20.

Jeeze, that sandwich above with fries and a Pepsi Max was $16.20... can't wait to get back to the States.

It's funny because they mandate you have to live within 10mins of the restaurant and say "try to deliver within 30mins"

a BK whopper takes 1.8mins to construct, a pizza takes 12-15mins to build and bake.

I doubt any pizza place strictly states that if you live outside of a 10min distance from them the delivery will take a lot longer.

lol @ BK delivery, but was skimming this thread this morning and then saw this linked from another website. Haven't read this, but I still lol at the idea

Also, SGT, next time do a pic of the whole cross section, too. if you please

Edit: that must be some amazing thermal wrapping.

went to Pollo Campero in Paterson , NJ, had their chicken (always thigh for me),
have been at a branch out in queens and in LA when this fast food chain first came stateside (they are Guatemalean based) . by first appearance i thought the chicken would dissapoint, but it grows on you in flavor as you keep eating it.. had a chicken taco on the side with it .. it was real good.

Gonna go out on a limb and guess that BK is going to require their guys to deliver to multiple households as opposed to having a separate delivery guy for every address in a 10min radius. I'm not Warren Buffet either thought so idk, it might be a union thing.

A pizza can be prepared, baked, and boxed in ~7 mins. A pizza place delivers to a certain radius most likely defined by miles not mins. If you live outside of the delivery area then most likely they will not take your business, unless the store is slow and the delivery driver is willing to take the drive. I know from experience since i've worked in a few pizza places.

Just because it takes two mins to make a whopper and you live 10 mins away, does not mean you should expect your burger in 12 mins. Drivers take more than 1 drive and have to sometimes wait in the store for their second delivery or even third or fourth.

I dont think its unreasonable for them to Make those statements.

Will try a hot sandwich next time, either their meatball sub or the chicken strip sub.

OnlyCardINeed is being a full ****** as usual. It's no different than any other delivery place, the article is saying the delivery zones will be set up so that they are a 10 minute drive from each of the delivering locations, each location will probably have a zone expressed in miles or on a map, like everywhere else. They're not going to set up a chain-wide X-mile delivery zone, because X miles can be a 10 minute drive in some areas and a 30 minute drive in others. Use your ****ing brain before posting ffs.

Had Baja Fresh for the first time today and was very underwhelmed. Got a burrito and a drink, 10 bucks, barely got any chips and the burrito was worse than Moe's or Green Cactus as well as having worse salsas.
