Two places I haven't seen mentioned yet:

All over the Hawaiian Islands:

Their Fried Chicken and Chili dish is awesome. The prices are good too.

The other place which is in Hawaii, California and I think Vegas:

The combo plates can feed a family!

I find it so incredible that the only fast food restaurants chains in all of italy are McDonalds and Burger King. No way to find ANYTHING else...

That reminds me, I stopped at a mcdonald's in France when I was there a couple years ago. Everything was MUCH better than at mcd's in the US. I'm pretty sure they use better ingredients/fry stuff in actual lard over there. And yes, they sell beer.

Arby's = Arby's melt or GTFO imo. Anything else probably is better elsewhere.
My post is dumb because I don't like Arby's?

The business is struggling, I'm not the only one who doesn't eat there.

This is exactly what I said, some cold cuts, a cheese slice (or maybe cheese whiz) on a bun. No veggies. Anyone could slap that together in 5 seconds

Thread Participants: what should I eat for dinner tonight? GF out of town, friend flaked on me tonight - pretty much perfect evening to go fast food option. Please help me choose (I never eat fast food so it's all pretty much new to me) - and I'll try anything for the most part - these are the fast food options that I know of near my home:

1) Carl's Jr
2) Wendy's
3) McDonald's
4) Jack in the Box
5) Popeye's
6) BK
7) Assorted LA area fast food chains, e.g. Fatburger/Del Taco - but I will stay away from them as it sort of seems against the spirit of the thread

Didn't you say you'd never been to Carl's Jr/Hardee's? Burgers and chicken strips there are very good by fast food standards.

I've only had it once.

I had a burger for lunch so perhaps I'll try the "Hand Breaded Chicken Wrappers"...

Or I just read ITT that the deli trio grilled sandwich at Jack in the Box is great as well...

AL,

Fatburger isn't really just LA area. Good option if you feel like having a fried egg on your burger tonight. After that i'd go for:

Popeye's: Spicy strips, mashed potatoes with cajun gravy
JITB: Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger
Carl's: IDK $6 burger or whatever the best burger there is these days. I used to really like the Western chicken when they had it ~10 years ago but haven't eaten there in forever.

I've been curious about the wrappers, but I kinda hate ranch. If you go with the plain chicken strips instead the creamy buffalo sauce is vvvg.

Boom! Thank you, stabn, for deciding tonight's dinner for me. Carl's Jr will have to wait for another time...

They have a solid honey mustard if you like it. Nicely tangy with some extra spices thrown in.

I don't think you know what cold cuts are but a key hint is the word cold.

I have a friend whose cousin worked at an Arby's. He said the roast beef actually arrives at the restaurant in a gelatinous form. Surprised that with all the hubbub about Taco Bell's meat that this never made it to the media.

There is nothing better in the fast food world than a spicy chicken sandwich from chik fil a. Unless five guys is considered fast food where a bacon burger is the most delectable food in a bun known to man. Wise posters will agree with me these are facts not opinions.

Wat? Arby's "famous" roast beef sandwiches are not cold cuts.
