Really enjoying ‘Adam Ruins Everything’. I like informative stuff, and he is entertaining and the show is very fast paced. It’s like a shamwow infomercial for your brain, your wallet, and your health.

Rumble in the Bronx

This is what people in Hong Kong thought the Bronx was like in the 1990s. Street gangs are threatening normal Cantonese shopkeepers just trying to make it in America. the police are nowhere to be found. late-night motorcycle races are smashing up every car on the street, and Uncle Bill's antique limo is parked right there. and it won't spoil to movie at all to tell you it ends, stunningly, with
Spoiler:
Jackie Chan and his two girlfriends laughing and screaming as they pilot a hovercraft onto a golf course in order to run over the organized crime kingpin, not killing him but simply humiliating him there with his pants down. This is after he kidnapped Jackie's girlfriend at gunpoint and had one of her motorcycle friends murdered. Also the kingpin's name is "White Tiger" and he's a white guy and this is set in the Bronx

Love love love the movie. However, it is simply a standard HK movie, set in the Bronx. That was part of the schtick.

Sorry for late reply, but probably not. I havent watched first season since last year. I really love all the comedian voice actors and the general theme of the show, I had a very painful early adolescence and this show just hits me right there in basically every episode.

Binged both already.

Has anyone seen The Haunting of Hill House? Watched E1 and it was ok, but kind of disjointed and I wasn't really sucked in. Will continue if it's worth it though.

The Haunting of Hill House

is overrated but through 3 eps, I think its okay and becausewe don;t get enough horror shows LIKE this where they actually try to develop characters and story, its a worthy watch so far, some scenes are kinda creepy too so thats good.

I genuinely 100% believe its impossible to make a good ACTUAL "horror" show. This may be as close as we get. most shows like this are DOG****

The Kindergarten Teacher is a new movie on Netflix starring Maggie Gyllenhaal that...actually has good reviews?!?

My review of "Private Life" starring Paul Giamatti and Kathryn Hahn (both of whom I love).

I'd rather watch a snuff film starring my mother than ever watch another frame of this film.

Kindergarten teacher was not great.
I could describe the whole movie in 2 sentences and sadly it could be a 10 min short movie. Surprisingly actors carry it to a more bearable lvl than most Netflix movie. But without this thread I would already have forgotten it in 48 hours

I spent years researching and watching the top mobster movies. How did I completely miss this one? It's like 4 hours so I'll have to watch it in a few installments.

Speaking of Netflix original movies, I just watched Apostle.

Beginning: this is pretty interesting, reminds me of The Wicker Man

Middle: okay this is an ultra-violent slog, how long is left?

End: this is ****ing terrible

Just say no.
