Beet kreischer special is pretty great imo. My gf and I laughed A LOT. Funny and crude. The way I like my comedy.

Watched DMT: The Spirit Molecule the other night and DAMN.....I really want to try it. Seems a bit too involved to make myself though. Here's hoping I can get my hands on some.

Does anyone have experience with this? Seems amazing.....

yeah sorry, i dont care that that's what stupid line they came up with for millennial, but people born in the 80s arent millenials, let alone 81.

this, then it shows up in my continued watching too, ugh. Is there a way to get rid of that **** from "continue watching" too btw. Tired of watching ep 1 of a series, deciding it sucks, then it being in that list forever.

Watched "The Package" the other night. It was an OK teen comedy. A few laughs, but most were so obviously hinted at that by the time they got around to the joke, it was no longer funny. It wasn't bad enough that i stopped watching, but also didn't feel it was the best thing I could've been watching on netflix at the moment. I'd give it a solid rating of Meh...

I too am unexcited, although it has more to do with the fact that I just don't use Netflix (or any streaming service, for that matter) as a way to consume talk shows.

Probably because I haven't yet cut the cord, and still use cable for three things -- live sports and news, and the occasional talk show. Even though I think, for instance, Michelle Wolf is hilarious, if I'm going to watch a talk show it's probably going to be Colbert, Conan or Kimmel.

I wish Norm luck, though. I loved him on Weekend Update back in the day.

How come? His podcast show is terrific. It's a hilarious guy in a different format.

It will boil down to how much work goes into the production. How good the writers are, how good the guests are, how much effort Norm puts in. I’m a Norm fanboy, but if he mails it in, if will suck (but I will still watch).

History should have gone differently, and Norm would have had a talkshow with the support of SNL and Lorne Michaels 20 years ago.

watched it as well, and feel confident in the meh rating. i mostly laughed at blake from workaholics and that was it.

just watched "the after party". and it seemed about the same. better than the package but not something i would probably ever watch again. it was amusing for the cameo's and i really like Kyle.

also the definition i was using for millennials was 83-94 ish. simpsons started in 89 i believe. i see now that some people do have the generation going back to 81 but i always assumed they were reffering to kids around 15-16 and younger in 2000. starting it at the high school class of 2000 might have been a better spot.

and people confusing millennials with the kids born around the millennium need to get with it. it was supposed to be those coming into young adult hood around the millennium not those born around the millennium.

Anyone born before the popularization of the internet, and smartphones in particular (mid to late 90's) is by default, NOT a millenial.

you're reffering to generation Z or the iGen as someone tried to call it. having the internet as child is the definition of the generation.

Again millennials were young adults when the things you are talking about became big.

this is a stupid derail, but its clear that there is a widespread misconception, largely due to stupid anti-millennial jokes conflating the two generations to make everyone below the age of 35 a millennial.

I think id go a little higher, like "meh+", there were a few really good laughs, and the premise was so absurd that even tho lots of the jokes were completely obvious it was at least unique in that regard. I'll never watch it again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but it passed the time

It's sort of interesting that the thing in like 2010 or whenever idiot business media types learned that olds loved "Why Millenials are Killing X" stories that all inaccurately used the word for the generation after Gen X as a synonym for "young person" caused that incorrect definition to get so baked in that people now appear upset that someone is using the original definition.

While this is a valid point:

1) Wind River was ****ing awesome and "Wind River with a better cast" is very promising!

2) This is from the Blue Ruin and Green Room guy, which is an even better resume than Taylor Sheridan. This absolutely should've gotten theatrical release, either it totally ****ing sucks and got dumped on streaming, or Netflix paid out the ass for it, because the expectation of "serious crime thriller by Jeremy Saulnier starring Jeffrey Wright" is a top 10 movie of the year.
edit: 2a) Review of the Wikipedia page says that Netflix got the rights before filming began, whew, still optimistic.

On a related note, if anyone else liked Blue Ruin/Green Room type of suffocating tension, bad decisions and terrible consequences drama, Netflix currently has a Scottish movie called Calibre that is excellent. Only actor I recognized is the pilot from Dunkirk who isn't Tom Hardy, but he absolutely crushes it as a normal dude who gets in way over his head.
