Only tangentially related, but does anyone have one of the LG lcd tvs that let you stream netflix right to the tv? I really like the idea and want to get one of these, but I've heard mixed things on how well it works..

My friend has one and it lags like crazy and he has his business T1 line running into it, with prices down on the PS3 and Xbox 360, it might be worth it for non gamers.

FWIW if it's a single T1 that's only about 1.5 megabits, less than many cable/DSL plans and half the recommended minimum from Netflix.

This is one of those shows that should be required viewing for all high school students.

Planet B-Boy - Break dancing documentary that follows 5 teams as they prepare and compete in the largest B-Boy (break dancing) competition in the world, Battle of the Year. Some very open and honest interviews with likable personalities who seem to really love what they do. And spectacular eye candy during the dance scenes.

Does anyone know why they have hd streaming for xbox/roku player but not for pc's. I have my laptop hooked up to my tv and it annoys me that I can't get hd streams anyone know any way to get around that?

I just watched "I.O.U.S.A" about the debt crisis and debt in general, I definitely recommend it.

... not that it matters, lol. I hardly ever sit in front of the TV nowadays, and don't have time to watch 150 hours of Buffy or whatever.

You have some really good things on that list. I'm about to start Battlestar Galactica too. 88 Minutes wasn't anything special, other people said it was very bad. Letters from Iwo Jima couldn't hold my attention. Other than that, the list looks solid from what I have seen.

Hulu has Firefly and News Radio. Hulu apparently doesn't have the last season of Arrested Developement anymore and only has the first 3 season of Buffy. Netflix has all of the British Office.Only other shows I watch on Netflix are 30 Rock and US Office and I just stay a stay a season behind.

and Serenity is on Netflix.

UK Office is on there and it's fairly short.

I recommend everyone with firefox gets the movie ratings extension. You can right click movies on netflix and get their rotten tomatoes rating quickly.

There's tons of hidden gems in the watch instantly, you just gotta check the rotten tomato ratings. A bunch of the best movies I've seen were foreign films that I hadn't heard of before.

i dont have netflix, so this is probably a stupid question, but how does the queue work for "watch instantly"? i understand how it works for the mail service, you have the queue and as the movies become available they'll ship them to you (not in any order, right?), but why can't you just watch whatever movie you want with "watch instantly"? why do you need a queue for that?
